Apple Orchards Harvest In July, You Rot In October

I pick your apples with a gentleness uncharacteristic of my kind.

I eat them with a fervor that may only come from me.

You are my garden of Eden and I gladly take any fruit the snake may provide me

Because having a piece of you, however unlasting, is better than having none.

Because I hold onto you like a farmer holding his last crop.

And I feast. I allow myself to consume.

If you have the ability to go, then god knows I have the ability to devour.

Apples

Green apples are tasty
Red apples too
Just like you

Premium MemberApples In Autumn

Bushels of apples are in tubs and bins all over the place
A variety of kinds, yellows, reds, none a disgrace
We cut out the bad spots and turn them into pie
Fresh applesauce smells make the harvest men sigh

Let’s make some cobbler says Gran as she rolls out the dough
She sprinkles it with sugar and love, making it just so.
I ask if I can fork the top and she says “I cannot see why not”.
But after a few piercings she yells out “now, stop!”

Apple cider is made along with apple butter for Gramps.
He brings home some farm workers, some of them look like tramps.
They use polite words and say “thank you” again and again.
Some leave with an extra piece of pie, wearing a great big grin.

Premium MemberSweet Apples

You’re like
sweet apples
in the summertime

Like breezes
through grasses
you ease my mind

Come whisper softly
next to me
You’re everything
that I need

'Cause I need
sweet apples
and breezes
in the summertime

And I need
soft whispers
next to me
to ease my mind

Come dream
beside me
and be mine

You’ll be
all I need
all through time

Just whisper
that you’re mine

Premium MemberBee's Making Love To Apples-

Have you seen,  have you ever seen an apple;
Make sweet love to a honey bee;
Before you see;
It's beautiful ;
The insertion;
of it's proboscis,
In the Apple's mesocarp-endocarp heart;
Kissing it!
Absorbing it!
Ooh, ahh, yum!
Delicious juices;
Sap so precious;
Ooh, so delicious;
Vitamins B's high amount of C's blessed;
Sweet Anthophila
Kisses and loves Malus Domestica;
Ooh, yum my darling, (sweet)

Solly Our Love

Flesh to bone, lets solly our love
And clad our apples in green leaves.

The river that brought us together
The milk of our breasts, yet flourishing
Shall not dry up in brimming season-

The snail wet the ground along its path,
Yet no sand follows it to its shell-

Our love shall be drunk with revelries
But our virginity shall bear no umbilical cord-

For the night preens before standing mirror
The synthesizing owls mewl their spree
And the chirping crickets tie together their wings-

So why should we not solly round bonfire
And tincture our love with ecstasy…

The apples, scented the kitchen,
Reminding me so much of Eden.
Odd, how we love this fruit!
That stands for ultimate disrepute.
Man's desire to be so dandy,
With souls hard as rock candy.

To topple anyone in our way,
At any cost, leads to my dismay.
Alas, seems our human disposition.
To avoid at all costs being an inspiration.
Just to win in any competition?
Destroying souls handily in a frenzied
human demolition!

Apples Bring Hearts Home

Ekphrastic: Nature Morte Aux Pommes
Painting by Alfred Sisley

Red, gold apples lay
Crispy, crunchy picked that day
Mama's orchard farm

Paring with her knife
Her son brought home his new wife
To show her their farm

An inheritance
Saw to them as excellence
Kept with family

Drifting through like doves
Apple pie carried with love
Family is home

Flying Apples

I saw an old man with tired eyes
lean over a fence and
throw apples at the boys skateboarding along the side walk
thought he was angry
looked like he was mad
seemed upsetting
was sort of sad
but the boys on the skateboards caught each one then
munched on their apples
as they bobbed on
next thing I knew an apple flew my way
caught it shined
it tasted sweet
talked to the old man
his name was Pete
with his Irish accent and
sported black shiny boots
and a green tam
Pete told his story
about the apple ambushing
they take me back he said
to my childhood days
when I could play and be merry
they help me forget what war took away
brothers young and some just married
I planted an apple tree for the love of my life

How Do You Like Them Apples

Oh looky here so fine tonight
Look what the cat dragged in!
I gotta say your timing’s right
Didn’t think you’d show again
To what do I owe this pleasure?
Were ya just in the neighborhood?
I’ve been hangin’ on forever
Though I didn’t know if I should
This one sided love is vicious
I ‘got SUCH a mad crush on you!
I admit I’m a bit suspicious
Ya just ‘showin’ up ‘outta the blue’
I don’t wantcha to think I’m ungrateful
I’ll take all I can get with you
So “ how do ya like them apples?”
Oh _______ please tell me you do!

Premium MemberRose Apples

Red roses and chocolates for you
On Hearts Day, lovely things I wanna do
Sweet kisses while dancing, playing our love songs
Embracing you so dearly, in my heart for so long

Another wonderful things I wanna give
Precious, so delicious. Hope they aren't your peeves
Picked three for you, like my heart in rosy-red
Love, love, love. Listen to my heart beats
Embracing you again, I love you so dearly, my sweet
Special you are to me - every hour every minute

Can Five a Day Contain a Quatrain of Apples

Imagine if today were the anniversary of the day
A phantom, some angel came down here to say
Or more to compel us to change our ways
Stop selling rotten apples from your tray.

To the nuthouse for the laughing stock
After they're bound in a block of wood
Ten paces back, soft apples stuffed with rock
Men's faces cackled as good shots were got.

That apple of God's eye
That in a pool of blood does lie
Humans'll shoot a messenger from upon high
Much quicker than they'll stop to question why.

If you believe all you read in some damned book
To men God apparently foresook
When some banned apple got took
Inside all of you is a seed if you happen to look.

If you nurture and grow, like a parent show
Fill me with Love we'll reach for above
Nature will flow if we leave it alone
An apple's just a tree, wrapped up in a glove.

Apples In Orchards

Apples in orchards

Apples in orchards crashing like snowflakes to the ground,
They fall into the baskets to be eaten now.
They have ripened and at last we can taste their juices;
This fruit of the loom brings pleasure to our mouths.

Vineyards drunk dry by drunken Mediterranean’s,
Create a wine so divine, you would swear it was a God send.
There is no end of pleasure to be found in this land of ours;
Sip the wine and spit it out and then while away the hours.

Summer shines upon us, as we are drunk in love;
We have tasted her, we are with her and she is the one.
The one who brings us happiness when all else is dark.
She brings us the warmth we crave; she is euphoria for the heart.

Dance for your lover and take off your clothes
And you will see the smile on their face.
Love each other truly and who knows,
You could grow apples in your orchard and savour the taste.

Love is your apple and your life is your orchard;
It takes two to grow an apple, so come on now don’t be a dullard.
Smother them in love and your orchard will grow
And at last you will have a place you can feel at home.

Onions and Apples

onion booty delight
i love staring at the art of it all
you may look at me as the typical male
well i cannot help myself when i stop, look and wonder....wonder, look, and stop
then i look at her
those eyes shooting daggers through me like an aggressive type of acupuncture
i try to flirt with her, but today it will not work
then i watch her walk....MY GOSH!!!!! WHAT A RUMP ROAST!!!!!
tonight i will get no sleep
my smile is IMMEDIATE!!!!!
at times i like her that way

apple booty delight
i love admiring the art of it all
you may look at me as the typical male
well i cannot help myself if i wonder, look, and stop....stop, look, and wonder
then i look at her
that head just starts shaking while she is throwing something at me at the same time
i try to laugh it off, but that look on her face is like a stop sign that is very mandatory
then i watch her strut with a bit of an extra kick....MY GOSH!!!!! WHAT A BREATHTAKING BOONKUM!!!!!
she straddles me like a scowling viewblocker
my smile is IMMEDIATE!!!!!
she puts it on me like a claim on gold when her emotions are mixed with jealous and mad

Apples and Green Tea

all i need to comfort me
is an apple and some green tea
and a tablespoon of honey
mixed with some ginseng

a bright blue sky overhead
shaded by sycamore trees
classic literature in hand
and just the air that i breathe

i don't mind my world's on fire
or your heated blade pressed into my back
i don't mind the verbal onslaught
of your venemous personal attack

you got what you wanted
now i just ask that you go away
i've got a tale of two cities
and a bright blue saturday

i'll wait to pick up the pieces
of the shattered life you left behind
and i'll trade in my apples and green tea
for an endless chalice of blueberry wine

and i'll drink to drown you out
until you're just a faded memory

-----
i'm done feeling miserable. i'm done grieving. and while i don't have to like it, i
have accepted the divorce. and maybe somewhere deep inside of me, i wanted
this as well. between friends, family, co-workers, the soup, art, yoga, music
and just hiking the state parks - i am having a blast while my entire world is
crumbling around me, making way for the new.

thanks for the continued support.

love & light to you all, brothers & sisters.
