Close knit families is
Soon to be a thing
Of the past, if not already
Because family is
Against family
Alarming Perspectives!
Across a dark void
Point to point world-strangeness's.
Life-lit, more feeble.
One heart's from another
Colder perhaps still
For emotional distance
As unbridgeable.
A long peacefulness,
May signal a sudden break,
Of open ire freak.
The alarm clock isn’t going off;
it’s dead there on the stoop.
I fear the feral cats
were in the chicken coop.
the wounding of youth
and the wringing hands of time
convoluted rhyme
Beef is conceived in a package
Onions are grown in a bag
Sardines swim best in oil
Pebbles thrive in the soil
Today's teens don't know geography
But they sure do know about farming
