Oh,my dear Red wattled lapwing bird, Are you a naughty, nature noisy bird, When I tried to catch a butterfly, You made a did-you-do-it lullaby, No one escape from your vigilant eye , Your act is an alarm for creatures, not a lie.
An alarm clock.
On the edge of the nightstand.
No one came after me the whole night.
Except the skin of my thoughts.
Shaking but nothing.
It’s like I woke up and ate gravity and passed out again.
It’s all about time.
Wrappers crinkling underfoot.
More and more trash scattered.
Warping.
The sound of the garbage truck is blending into everything…
And no one calls me anymore!
An alarm clock.
Which cooks up seconds for us.
And burns us.
Feeling unwieldy when I stand.
Getting up even though I’ll be late anyway.
Being strong is doing things to make yourself later and later.
Uncooking the toast.
Unbrushing your teeth.
Creating more places to be.
Places which are just outlines.
There’s still that alarm clock.
That goes on.
Beddy bye beddy bye
cuddled up in here I lie
Tickity tickity tock-tock
goes the alarm clock
With a blanky on my tummy
I feel kinda' woozy
Dingy dingy dong-dong,
anka wanka I am cozy
Beddy bye beddy bye
think I'll sleep til' noonzy!
alarm bells
unheeded
no hurry
no scurry
damn jury
damn bells
ring yet
falcon
hawk
vulture
eagle?
no matter
rooster sounds the alarm
chickens scatter
clucking up a storm
uh-oh
I note the red head
turkey buzzard
something is dead
The day I dread most
Silences fun five whole days~
Wake too soon, return too late;
Hours drag on like stones.
Alarm bells bury silence
Till weekends return with sparks.

Alarm Clock
The green goblin digits of
my alarm clock frequently show
years instead of
hours and
minutes.
What do you romanticize when there is no beauty left?
There are no ponds to sit beside
There are no trees for me to write beneath
I haven't heard a bird sing to me in what feels like a decade
The light pollution has clouded my eyes and I'm afraid that if it ever clears I'll see this place for what it is and become so
cars sound the alarm
autumn delivers it's storm
night time is shattered
window faces watch
our world of broken branches
wheelie-bins gone rogue
when tomorrow comes
boys will collect their conkers
grown men their shovels
Every morning
Hours before the sun rises
You find that time to laugh
That annoying laugh of yours
Just like a feathered alarm clock
Set you to make our lives hell
It echoes around the entire land
Waking men, women, and children
No one is safe from you
The thing is you rarely travel alone
Two, three, or even more
All hiding up in the trees
Can you grant us one small wish
Please try and sleep in just once
Maybe until say eight in the morning
We may all like you if you could

LRET
alexa alarm
makes waking up easier
feels like a friend
she tells me a joke
and temperatures for a week
the best friend ever
a helicopter combs
the hillside
sheep scatter like dandruff
Our planet has been around for a very long time
Now it faces many challenges making it an uphill climb
Collectively we must work together to ensure long-term survival
It needs our long-term help as we continue to be in denial
The planet has been fighting for us in every way it can
It is pleading with us to take action and get our heads out of the sand
Our very existence relies on us to find ways to control global warming
Scientists sound the alarm daily telling us we must heed their warnings
If not for us how about for the generations that will follow
Anything short of that will be far too much for us to swallow
You could leave all your worldly goods to your children, but without a planet what good would that do
Let us do everything possible to save our world so they will be able to enjoy it to
Your decree has expired
You used to force me since I was a teen student
You kept forcing me during 16 years of flying
You ordered me to get up, to go, to work,
To study, to eat, to sleep, to move, and more…
From today on…
Your order is no longer sacred
I will wake up, eat, sleep, compose,
Manage my time with my heart
Claiming a retirement in all technical fields
I will enjoy my humble life
I will conquer the world with my pen!
