Premium MemberWhen His Darkness Met Light

In a state of darkness, with hatred in his heart,
there traveled to Damascus with the intent to persecute Christians
one named Saul.
On the road, light surrounded him, blinding him. He was a witness to Christ,
who admonished him. Once in Damascus, he waited until a believer, Ananias,
would soon answer God’s call
by laying healing hands on a man who was once so cruel.
That same light that had blinded Saul transformed him into
the redeemed apostle known as Paul.

Premium MemberThe Rules Of War

We are admonished by guardians of civilization
to battle the enemy with due civil restraints
Yet with a nagging visceral realization
we know wars are not fought by saints

Rules of war shield all children from harm
disallowing rape and torture and pillage
soothing unease, assuaging alarm
reassuring every town, farm and village

Long ago Sherman warned us war is hell
as knowing heads bowed with grim words unspoken
Now lulled into another innocent naive spell
we learn again rules are meant to be broken

Premium MemberPRIDE'S COLONIZATION

Colonized by pride
Admonished against downfall pain
My heart agonizes --- finding love's freedom...

Persevering to be liberated from gripping arrogance
Mind of paradigm-shift takes a look at this warning sign
“Beware of a lurking great fatal stride.”

While admitting angst as a boastful prisoner
In meekness, I seek divine guidance midst prayer...
Conquering vain haughtiness, smitten by grace and mercy.

Midst sobriety, I repent from projecting false humility
Hiding shaky fortitude upon timidity’s pretense
With faith in God* of triumphant bliss, marked by grateful praise.

*Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Premium MemberThe Ninth Wife

      Greedy vine spirals smother monoliths
Spider fern moss, fairy forest vertical
      Soaks in secrets, promise admonished

      Water trawled crevice, creek cervical
      Church canopy arch angel honours
Wing finger cool fires praise prancing
      Laser selects sections, bark polished
      Licked by flitting demure madonnas

Eight afore taped to trees keen tropical
Each fresh capes the chapel innocent
Suckers strung hearts hung over tendrils

Hundred year hardness rots, wet spent
Mighty trunk rips open room charcoal
     Doorway discloses disaster clandestine
     Bluebeard’s bride wives winding sparkle
Shon hopeful on nymph number nine

Premium MemberI AM ENERGY SPIRIT BLESS BIRTH-

Who am I to speak, suffer?
Who am I to explain pain?
I am of a wonder, and He’s greater
 than everything;
My name is healed
My name is whole
I am holy, abundantly assured
Wholesome and admonished
Heavenly polish
Spirit is also always, willing-as my flesh is weak;

So I must kill,
I must kill, forever kill the flesh;
You see it’s a mess;
I am of Heaven’s Bliss;
I am of I am energy, spirit bless birth;

Premium MemberPRAISE BE TO GOD WHO CONSTANTLY REMINDS US THAT WE KEEP HIS CHARGE

February 15 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 9-10

Key Verse – Numbers 9:19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO CONSTANTLY
REMINDS US THAT WE KEEP HIS CHARGE

Praise be to God for constantly reminding
us that we keep His charge in:
Confessing constantly our sins
Claiming His compassion according to the Scriptures
Cleaving to His care with sincerity
Clinging to His Christian standards
Committing to His cause by His security

Numbers 10:13 Praise be to the Lord Who
wants us to take our journey with Him:
Awakened by His command
Admonished by His challenge
Alarmed by His correction
Affirmed by His creative carving
Assured by His cleansing

Numbers 10:35 Praise be to the Saviour
for rising up for our:
Defense of help’s request
Dedication by His honourable reinforcement
Determination with His hope’s restoration
Direction toward His high calling’s recognition
Destination to His heaven’s eternal rest. Amen!

Ohh dear grandma!

Ohh dear Grandma!
I love your 'papadum'
I miss the time when you offered me to come
With you at the porch
When the sun had scorched
To help you to knead, roll and flip
The papadum which had a habit to slip
From those tiny little hands of mine
And so you told me to arrange them in a line
Ohh dear Grandma! I miss that time....
That time when..
When you sometimes got busy
I used to take a bite
Of that flavoursome dough in a way very quiet
Although it was not at all right
But I loved doing that when you were out of sight
Any other papadum couldn't compete the one which had ur hand's taste
Because on the theme of love and care it was based!
Maybe I'm missing getting admonished by you
Because I'm fed up being praised
Your words which were impeccably true
Are what always comes in my mind
when I miss the way how I was raised!
when I miss how I was always saved
from the rage of my Dad by you
your words which mentioned that "He loves me as if without me his sky isn't blue"
Yeah! Those words were impeccably true!
Ohh dear Grandma! Lot's of love to uhh!

Where Are We All Going

Where are we all going
his daily appeal
it’s not really knowing
the pace and uncertainty
that has him agog
we’re moving so fast
bubbling and roiling in a tumultuous fog
with ubiquitous gadget at rest in his palms
keyboard and thumbs ready to play
thumbs adroitly evolved
to deliver whatever it is he chooses to say
information and knowledge with no limit abound
opinions and egos both delicate and brash
new things to offend every day being found
labels and pronouns more important than air
it can no longer be called as it’s always been seen
referring to someone by gender or size
now admonished as being disrespectful and mean
with all of this change awash in his head
his thumbs are on pause, ready to send
all he wants is a “delivered to home” take-away meal
but is profoundly concerned that “short” crust will offend.

In the Hush

At shore just shy of ocean floor
Shy by foolish miles and miles more
Splashing in through shallow withouts
Hush hush all these flourishing doubts

Cautious soul breathes rush of air
Push down the rush to hold it there
Shining spirit in primal shouts
Hush hush all these flourishing doubts

Shortcomings bashed and admonished
In waves washing them astonished
No sharing shapes of shaken bouts
Hush hush all my flourishing doubts

pausing before entering the temple
the monk burst out into fits of laughter
at man’s idiocy of caging God in an edifice

the fundamentalists admonished him
but the nondescript beggar simply smiled
astonished at the ignorance of the bourgeois

Unsociable Media

Everyday we get more dependant
Reducing our span of attention
Rendering us less independant
Diminishing our skill of retention.

Like this, like that
Me.. Me.. meme.. Me
View this, watch that
We’re all on TV!

Obsession regression
Responsibilities admonished
Overuse of powerful words
No one truly is astonished.

You ate a meal, well good for you!
You’ve cash for food and phone,
Take a photo, tell the world
What right have you to moan?

Attention seek, “Just don’t ask!”
Think I’m falling for that?
Like me! Like me! Desperate sad
Pleas that all fall flat.

Tech to make things simpler still
Swipe left, swipe right, unfollow.
Offence is taken in a keystroke
Fake friendship - promises hollow

Scan the code to know it all
Constant information,
Screenshot, bookmarks, save for later,
Constant life narration.

We’re overwhelmed to know it all
To friend each glancing stranger,
This hunger for what seems progression
Is clear and present danger.

Midsummer vehemence stows heat for later
Solar film ominously watch hot arc
        Tilt tracks trajectory, power cater
Stashes post sizzle to supply light dark

        Socket slit subservient incubates
        Arrow of assurance inserts cable
        Voltage their pairing impressive creates
        Self derived to electric capable

       Autonomy admonished with a switch
Loins bearing in luxury breed evil
       Informed about squalid impoverished
       Ignore affluent vantage for reprieval

       Overloaded homes groan under panels
Tainted rich roads tune rigid channels

                Wealth rotten wattage

The Greatest Sermon

I wish to be the Greatest sermon to the multitude
 the practical Christian living
I wish people to see the fruits of Christ in me
before I even say a word or act a deed
People just believe and convert to Christ
not that my life matters most in heaven
Them doing their best, taking me as an example
not having to say," Do what I say and not what I do".
Being the salt of earth and light of the world
Hypocrites, doing the opposite of godliness,
when admonished to be the Greatest sermon in the world

The Bereaved Employee

Quick to forget the Off-Duty Grant
That makes bosses not rant
Easily treating An Observer,
To a levity of A Grieving Server
All stops are boldly pulled out
Like irritable errors struck out,
All restrictions kicked aside
Or left to their time bide!

It’s a being who has glimpsed obligations
Vain Boss would never understand,
Their delayed handling with implications
He might at last not withstand.
One doesn’t tears check for a Great Symbol
While on Earth virtuous and humble;
He who had to part with a noble life,
Forthwith ending a worthy strife …

Liable to be admonished
And sometimes stiffly punished
For a daring of The Bottlenecks
That a good file wrecks
Is the Employee in bereaved time
Not bothered that office clocks also chime.
