Do serial killers do head counts
Why are spaceships aerodynamic
Why is loud in cloud
See at the back of a hospital is that the backwards
Surely a plaster is more use than time on wounds
Every sad comes with an ad
How many sides does the sea have
What do rocket scientists say when something is easy
Does that mean that 2 birds in the hands is worth 4 in the bush
Can you get half a hole
Shouldn’t geysers be waterrisings
Is a Tom really small
The pencil is mightier than the sword
cause that nobody is John ing Wick
How could you light a candle at both ends
Well I suppose if it was balanced on a glass
Every cat I have had must have been on their last life
Wish there was a room full of mush
Time is loads of ships
Fleeting
What do you get for 2 kings and a queen in chess
God save save the….. what is it this week
2 soon
In the words of Queen
Matter really nothing me to
See if you have a..never mind
Sweetest love of best care
comes from Mother dearest
greeting with morning glow
midst prayer that’s fervent
for the Lord’s blessing flow.
Sweetest love of best care
is exposed along grace
by Mother’s cheerful ray
as her embrace so warm
wraps my soul every day.
Sweetest love of best care
exudes tender mercy
oozing from Mother’s heart
while nursing woe and pain
smiting grief to depart.
Sweetest love of best care
marked by peace and kindness
props my triumphant drive
as great Mother* lives on
with legacy to thrive.
*2 Kings 4:30 - And the mother of the child said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her.

He picked up the cloak that had fallen from Elijah
and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan.
2 Kings 2:13
A gang of youths jeered at Elisha,
Elijah’s protégé…
“Go on up, you baldhead! Go on up, you baldhead!”
(From 2 Kings 2:23-25)
BULLY OF BALDHEAD
how serious is it to mock the prophet?
before Elisha ventures forth
to Mount Carmel, he calls down a curse
two bears lumber out of the woods
hungry as all git out—
the crunch of youths
forty two wise…
the remaining ran away
by the skin of their scalps
would the bullies change their ways
or change directions—
find satisfying morsels
they tell their parents—
“What did you do son?”
their parents git them too
or does the fool pride
fall from the tree—
father to son
“The Father” looked down
Son nailed to cursèd tree—
all are invited
to leave their sin
at Jesus’ feet—
the cost of salvation
snarled skin, blood, tears,
death— hearts broken
until three days later
who was worried
after dayrise—
two angel bears atop the tomb’s rock

Be Ye Ready

Our past only changes,
as it increases.
Leaving us to view,
what memory releases.
At our last breath,
“our die is cast.”
Days cease enlargement,
of our past.
At God’s judgment bar,
we’ll stand in wait.
Get your house in order,*
don’t wait too late.
* 2 Kings 20:1
In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death.
And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him,
and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD,
Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

The Prayer of Hezekiah!
If you were facing death, as Hezekiah did…
Would you ask God for extra time to live?
Hezekiah cried out to God for a healing.
His life committed to God, was revealing.
He reflected on God and his obedience to him.
He had walked with God, and knew him!
He knew that he had done good in God’s sight.
And wept bitterly, through the day and night.
God heard his prayer, and soon answered him.
He let Hezekiah know he’d deliver him.
To his life of sickness, were added fifteen years.
God answered his prayer of brokenness and tears.
How many could pray a prayer of sincere dedication?
How many have lived a life
of a Godly edification?
How many of us truly love God and are committed?
Before this life that we have is quickly “omitted?”
May this be a sincere message to one and all!
May the spirit of God wake us up with a loud call!
The God of Hezekiah is alive! He truly loves you!
Won’t you allow his presence to come and touch you?
Allow God to restore what sin’s power takes away!
And allow him to add much
more to your life today!

Down where the wisteria's leafed
Blossoms gone but not forgotten
The magnolia buds are poppin'
And clouds cover morn's risin' sun
The distant dove coos at daybreak
And I've never seen a fiery horse
What were Elisha's thoughts right then
Or this an everyday sight of course
From Gilgal to Bethel and to
Jericho the two did depart
On down to the Jordan where
Waters Elijah's mantel did part
On the other side of Jordan
Elijah asked Elisha his desire
Elisha wanted a double
Portion of Elijah's spiritual fire
Elijah could not promise this
Only God could be the giver
If you see me when I'm taken
Then this gift too will occur
As the chariots of fire and
horses pulled them asunder
Elisha saw Elijah taken
Quickly in a whirlwind's dust stir
As the thick clouds and fog drip mist
And roosters crow in the hollow
Will this wet day be the day
When lifted up all Christians hallo

Based roughly on 2 Kings 2: 1-22
Verse 12 is very important
Hallo_to cry with a loud shout or voice
(As with the young king, I....)
And I knew,
that in like manner as Josiah,
I was going to have to dethrone
from the aforementioned high places,
those abominable idols of mine own making
(such as pride, apathy, procrastination and envy).
These were going to have to be torn down from their high places
so that the One who should rightfully sit
the throne of my heart,
would once again,
take His rightful place
and restoration and renewal
would once again make it's steady and consistent progress
down into the land of my life
during my sojourn here.
Thus,
once again would reign
the Golden Age of uninterrupted Communion with Him
who is
The One True an Only God.
Footnote:
For a backdrop to this allegory and a more clear
understanding of who Josiah was
(my favorite biblical king),
