What to Submit?
1 original, poem which is YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE that you have written...EVER! Old, new, whatever. Any form is acceptable, and I will be paying particular attention to the form you chose and how well you wrote to it. Only one trophy winner, of course, so your poem, your favorite, will have the honor of being a trophy-winning poem if it rises to the top of those submitted.
HOW DO I SELECT: Purely subjective, based on my likes, what appeals to me. Of course, poor grammar skills, misspellings, and stilted language...those things don't appeal to me. So....this one is up to you. Give me YOUR PERSONAL FAVORITE of all the poems you have written.
RULES: 1) put the date your poem was written and name of the contest at the bottom of your submission. If you don't know the date it was written, indicate that you don't know the date it was written! 2) DO NOT PUT YOUR NAME OR ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION ANYWHERE ON YOUR SUBMISSION. 3) if you have any questions about the rules, please do not hesitate to Soup Mail me, but do not in any way indicate the name or subject matter of your submitted poem. 4) I will be judging this contest blind.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
A Note to Poetry Contestants
You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
