What to Submit?

Simon and Garfunkle are two of my favorite songwriters, listen to and study the meaning of the lyrics of the song SOUND OF SILENCE.  Then, write a poem in free verse with your take on the meaning of the song.  You can modernize it if you choose but make the meaning clear. No short or excessively long poems 10 to 40 lines.  Please adhere to free verse form( means no discernible rhyme scheme) although using rhyme in a subtle way will earn extra points. Free verse is not prose, or didactic, or narrative. Any prose or common speak will not place.
Only 10 placements so do your best.
