My Soul Cries Sos

In dim-lit realms of shade, my dream comes to life to disperse into fragments of lives I made visions become real, lips move without sound I stare out at a sea of humanity crying in silence as they move through the wilderness searching for redemption...filled with hopelessness seeking Gods that glitter in the night as they wrap themselves in the hate of discontent no one speaks...no one hears my dream becomes bits of paper filled with empty words tumbling on the breath of fate I toss them onto tear-stained empty streets to form puddles around what's for sale where my soul is lost, I crawl through my refuge of despair and await the rain that falls silent on my darkness where I have scribbled graffiti on the stones of my poor yearning hoping for peace, finding silence as I ponder the death of humanity 7/26/19 contest Sounds of Silence
