Better Example

Of Perception
Perception is that
intricately painted
canvas of reality
which has been
crudely painted over
with our fears
and expectations.

  1. How well the poem reads
    • Following the contest guidelines
    • Flow (not prose)
    • Spelling and Grammar
  2. Creativity (surprise me with your topic or approach)
  3. My subjective opinion (this is implied with all contests, I make rules to be as objective as possible)
