Contest Description
"And if my private universe scans right, // So does the verse of galaxies divine ..." - from the poem "Pale Fire" by Vladimir Nabokov.
Is your imagination fired by this quote giving you inspiration on how you could insert the words "my private universe" in your poem? Let your title NOT be those words, though, and avoid the autobiographical. Distance yourself... I am looking for abstraction.
What to Submit?
One original poem on the theme of "my private universe".
Any form is acceptable.
After writing this I thought it would help you to read an example, so I caught up with my willing muse and wrote and submitted "Teacher's Pet" dated 9/10/2020.
