Tulle Strewn Universe

Broth of froth fulfils its duty
Calls me forth for cleansing
Seaside summons with her beauty
Sordid sins, my drama mending

Tickled toes consume her tulle
Shell gems of replenishment
Roll readily, her threaded spool
Thighs swarmed by her punishment

Then she tugs me, draws me down
Fuelled with force which drives the world
Turgid topaz, dispatched waves drown
Sorrow in her salty spray, solacious swirl

Fuzz of ripped tulle rings in my eardrums
Ocean submerged, my private universe
Fizz of gripped torso invites redemption
Crystal next day newness she serves

Sending you so many congratulations Sigrid on your first place win with this incredible imagery of the sea ~ such wonderful descriptions. I too adore the sea being a Piscean, and enjoyed your most inventive style of describing her ~ wonderful! With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Vivid images and verbs that brought me right into the waves, Sigrid! The tulle is a wonderful image for seafoam. Congratulations on your first place win! This is so creative.

Sigrid, I'm befizzled and befuzzled by your wonderful talents applied to the theme of private universe. Being a fan of the sea AND of your writing, this was a double joy. Big congrats on your first place win, no easy task! ~ John

I was trying to figure out how best to respond to this one when I first read it. So now I have been spared the trouble: Congratulations on your top win in Julia's contest! Way to go Sigrid! Cheers, Gershon

Yes, this write was a Kitchen bench 'quickie' before running out the door. - just happened Contest was listed then, as I was intending to write this, as previous poem written depicted a woman in psychological need, imagining the ocean to 'escape' mentally, next poem was going to be her physically going to the sea!
