The Yearning Daydream
When I stare off into space
I think of a place
Where we could be together
We would ride on the stars
Instead of skipping bars
Escaping the evil eyes
The world wouldn’t judge
When I give your nose a nudge
With mine
We’d be alone with the sun
Creating our own endless fun
Together
There would be no more prayer
We could be us without a care
Or hateful remark
In my private universe
We’d be together until the hearse
