Contest Description

Hello all!

For this theme challenge you are to create a poem inspired by William Wordsworth's quote, "I wandered lonely as a cloud" (Please quote this above your poem)

Using this simile, your title must be "I Wandered Lonely As..." And whatever your comparison is. For example, the title of my poem is, "I Wandered Lonely As A Pigeon" (feel free to read this as a guide)

If you can, try to write it in a similar style to Wordsworth's Daffodils. His was a lyrical poem with a rhyme scheme ABABCC. (This is not compulsory)

You are free to put whatever feel you like, you can make it somber, humerous, serious, a subject of admiration.

Are you the last leaf to fall from a tree in autumn? Are you a bird in flight? An animal that is often seen alone?

I look forward to seeing all you lone travelers in whatever shape you take.

Enjoy! Thank you in advance for your entries...
