What to Submit? (PLEASE READ!)
Impress me with a heavenly monoku. Really give your words some thought. Dive into juxtaposition, that twist in your monoku. Not just an appearance of a heavenly one, not just a name...make your monoku interesting...thoughtful!
DATE DATE DATE - NEW POEMS ONLY
A single line - do not punctuate except a simple dash (-) to highlight your twist if need be. No, I am not a monoku expert but I am a reader who delights in brief poems that say much in their delivery. 17 Syllables or less
Example:
Crystal Still Jesus
crystal still Jesus on a snowy cloud - his body on horseback
1/24/2019
Title = Crystal Still Jesus (please do not put title in the body of the poem)
Monoku = crystal still Jesus on a snowy cloud - his body on horseback
in Christianity, Jesus is "the head" and the Christians are "the body" and are also known as "The Bride of Christ"
So this monoku has a juxtaposition where you can visualize Jesus on horseback but also His followers with Him. So you see how it says more.
*Please, do not bold the monoku. If you do, I will not take points off, I just find it unnecessary.
