Contest Description
So, what is that first line, then? Here it is in a word order you must keep to exactly:
I spent my day shopping for rubies
Make the poem as imaginative as possible and adhere to the theme. Don't get waylaid and buy something else! :)
Each stanza should be of four lines with the rhyming lines being the second and fourth. (It is your choice how many stanzas you write.)
Do not centre the poem: keep it to the left hand margin please.
If you would like to see my example, it is called "Rubies For Mother", dated 7/5/2020.
What to Submit?
One original poem IN RHYME on the theme of shopping for rubies.
