Precious Rubies

It's my desire to bestow rubies as tokens from heart that’s gracious for special friends so endearing deserving presents, grandly precious. With jeweler’s prudent acumen I would check the genuine from the synthetic since these rubies are meant to be gifts to valuable loved ones, true and authentic. Delightfully, I chose these gems of worth rubies for bracelets, necklaces, and rings dominantly red with orange and purple hues midst prevailing care every stone brings. Having packed the rubies, each with wisdom-verse* bearing with exuberant greetings of bliss… from serene slumber I awoke to chase rubies’ radiance I won’t miss.
*Proverbs 8:11 For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. July 22, 2020 10th place, "First Line Prompt - 3" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Julia Ward; judged on 7/28/2020.
