Contest Description
What to Submit? (Please be sure to follow the three items listed.)
1) One original, poem on any theme. The theme must be consistent throughout the entire poem.
2) Selected form must be Clerihew, but your poem must incorporate the Clerimerick Couplets form, which is a hybrid form composed of a Clerihew, followed by a Limerick, followed by two rhyming couplets, in that order. The chosen theme must be consistent throughout the entire poem.
Three examples of the Clerimerick Couplets form are as follows:
3) Be sure to include the date, contest name and sponsor after your poem.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem as per directions above. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
