Norma Jeane Baker

The beautiful Marilyn Monroe
An Icon, she would never know
Blond bombshell, so pretty
She was also very witty

There was actress with a mole on her face
A facial mark, women tried to erase
It became so unique
Women drew it on cheeks
The mole became famous, not a disgrace

JFK was in love with her we all know
Her death was a horrible blow
Speculations arose, denial at best
Her iconic legend lives on as she rests

very well done, Tania. She is so iconic. I bet she looks down from above and feels good to know how she was so loved that even a famous singer wrote a song for her. Congrats.

This is an excellent tribute to America's most enduring sex symbol, Tania:-) Love her effortless charm and breathy voice. Best of luck in the contest! I thought her real surname was Mortenson? I didn't know she also went by her mother's maiden name.

If only she knew how loved she was, even this many years later. Really nicely expressed. I loved this Tania.
