Contest Description
What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of .............Blue
Free verse only -- don't worry rhymers and schemers my next will be complex rhyme and meter but not this, this will be complex thinking--as you probably know I rarely award more than 10 places and if I give 2 firsts the next place is third like it should be etc. Adhere to the rules - NO SPECIAL FONTS / LEFT JUSTIFY / 10 to 16 lines max and keep the lines reasonable in length to achieve that, (creative brevity is an art), do not submit photos nor illustrations with the poem/ NEW WRITES ONLY / use the word HUE in your poem at your own risk / BE ORIGINAL (what can you do with this word!?) Ordinary won't work so move on to a participation contest which is well - too ordinary to imagine - but then if that describes you - go for it. ABOVE ALL, SHOW, DON"T TELL!
