Welcome to my bio! I love poetry, of course, and enjoy interacting with other Soupers. I am originally from Upstate New York, travelled with the U.S. Navy and ended up in the Southern United States.

Where I’ve Been

I've been gone from home for six weeks, just in case you were wondering. I've tried to check in with many of you when I could. So, we took a transatlantic cruise from New Jersey ending in Barcelona, then off to Germany and a border town in France. All the ups and downs of traveling and adventure. So glad to be home.

I went to work, and to the supermarket and to the hardware store and then I went to the pub and back to the pub again this week. That’s why I didn’t comment earlier. Whew, I’m glad to be home too! Hope you had as much fun as I did, Kim.

I’m glad you’re back, Kim. Six weeks is a long time to be away, so I get that you were homesick. I’ve always enjoyed cruising but then I’ve never had one longer than 10 days.

Cruises are fun. It’s like a seven star property floating in the ocean. Most cruises have on board plays, shows and activities too. Of course back from the holiday, no place like home.

I only had one cruise in my life. Bahamas. It was best vacay EVER because of the food, games and shows they put on. My sister is rich. She goes with her husband 8 to 10 times a year but I am not even jealous. Because of the strange conditions i have, I would not be able to enjoy a cruise any more. Did you know, however, some older people spend their golden years living on cruise ship?. It is less expensive than a retirement home!

I couldn’t think too hard about it. I was homesick and looked up ways to manage it. Still a lot of great memories were made. Hugs
