Welcome to my bio! I love poetry, of course, and enjoy interacting with other Soupers. I am originally from Upstate New York, travelled with the U.S. Navy and ended up in the Southern United States.
As we wrap up the year,
so busy are we.
Checking on fellow poets,
not easy.
I cherish, as do you,
the comments,
the few,
but oh how merry, they be.
Be blessed as you gift,
and remember to lift
and encourage one another.
Blowing a kiss, from under
the mistletoe. The heat
from the flickering logs,
the mischievous elf,
treats of canes and
chocolate covered cherries,
to warm your spirit.
Sentry nutcrackers, they don’t
wave, but if you stare
they might wink
and so the star in the frozen sky.
