What is this?

What has happened to this site? It seems it has been invaded by two-bit publishing hacks. I tried one of the so-called publishers adverstised on this site once. It was a scam. I suspect most are. I thought this was just a friendly neighborhood poetry site, where fellow poets can share their work and get helpful advice. Things sure have changed. I have never been approached by so many "publishers" wanting manuscripts then I have in the past month on this site. Is this my imagination? I might just be going crazy. Input please!

Hey! Gary, I have been approached by the scammers too. Just ignore them, they will eventually move on to greener pastures. Don't let them ruin this sancuary we have built. Lainie
