<DIV class="richp itembody">I had just gottin blown in from the grey raging sea<BR>Weather beaten from wind and hail, I was exhausted <BR>Over one-hundred days of constant steaming, now I'm free<BR>A need for a long night of getting well defrosted<BR><BR>Money burning holes in the pockets of my ole blue jeans<BR>I hit the dirty streets with women and whiskey in mind<BR>I had in mind the great place for both, I had my own means <BR>Departing, I quickly leave my fellow squids far behind<BR><BR>As a salt, I had my woman already there, waiting<BR>After years in this port, made for loving friends and old ties<BR>Meeting her, a beautiful brown, dark haired island starling<BR>She knows how to calm the warrior from sea, hide my cries<BR><BR>Unforgetable Philippines, my home away from home<BR>An awsome rest, before returning to the ocean’s foam <BR><BR>© Copyrights G.
