LIFE IS SHORT

It's not
as if you have
a choice in the matter,
but if you leave a poem
it's enough.

I am saddened to hear of your mom's passing. Also, to learn of her unhappy marriage which it seems she tried to make work, but only the alcoholic can work on changing. I am delighted to learn she got to remarry to a man who treated her really well. I feel for you in your loss and I can say I still miss my parents after nearly 30 years without them. They both lived to be almost 97. They were blessed with longevity as was your mom. I hope she wasn't down with anything serious as she was in hospice. God bless you in these times of mourning. Thank you Sara. Mom was in hospice because of her bad heart. We were blessed that she did not have dementia. She was alert up until her death and was able to visit with her children and grandchildren during the final week of her life.
