Chetta is the nom de plume of Deborah Guenther Beachboard a poet writing since 1992. Her poetry has been published in Modern Haiku, Sijo West, Amaze: The Cinquain Journal, Short Stuff, Twilight Ending and numerous other online and in print journals.

After taking a 10 year hiatus from writing (for reasons not interesting enough to share) Chetta returned to writing, most recently having poetry published in Periwinkle Pelican, Puddick, Stygian Press, Snoozine, and Sweet Smell.

Chetta makes her home in the Adna Valley in southwest Washington in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

LIFE IS SHORT

It's not
as if you have
a choice in the matter,
but if you leave a poem
it's enough.

What is up with that?

"Use the search box above to find the poem you're looking for if you have more poems."

That would work if I had a list of all the poems I had posted beyond the 1000, oh, which I don’t.

Chetta are you able to find all your poems without knowing titles? You mentioned in your comments you found a way around this? Maybe it's because I am on my phone that I am unable to see my first 10 years or more.

Thanks for that info. Will have to check it out. I would expect the opposite of what you just said. I would think My Poems would show me all my poems!

I use my phone for PS, but I just checked on my laptop and it is the same, only 1000 of my poems are accessible under “my poems” page.

I searched for my name in the search box, so it took me to “read poems by Chetta Achara” and all of my posted poems are available there.

Omg. I have not even seen this horrible thing. How the heck will I ever find five thousand poems ?? (I believe that's how many I posted since coming here 16 ago). I can't sort through boxes and boxes of hard copies trying to find them. I can't remember all those titles. This is such bad news, Chetta

I don’t know what PS is thinking by doing this.

It would take me two lifetimes to write a thousand poems. Another issue is the New Poems page was better when it displayed 100 posts instead of the now 50.

I did find a work around. I can search for myself and see all the poems published under my name here on PS. However, I remain most unhappy!🔥

Do you mean by laptop. I can't do it by phone. I can't stand all these changes.
