Arthur Vaso is a Canadian poet, born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. He has had his works published in local papers/magazines as well as on many Web sites. He has traveled extensively around the world, and writes about a wide variety of topics.

I thought I would wish everyone a Happy International Women’s Day! I was trying to think of what I could I do to commemorate this day, when suddenly an idea began to flourish in my mind.

So on my site blog there is a post for this special day, dedicated to all women, but especially to all the Female Guest Poets featured on my site.

Tim Smith has been kind enough to write a poem dedicated to you all!

Right on, Arthur and Tim. : ) Let's look around the world - what do we see? Mostly patriarchal or male-dominated government. So, how are things going? Heh - about time to let the women take over, I think.
