You've done it Soupers! You have made PoetrySoup the 4th most popular poetry website and the #2 most popular poetry community in the world! If you remember, just two months ago we were in the six position. In less than two months we have risen to #4; and we are continuing to climb. We have passed some websites that have been in existence long before PoetrySoup. This is due largely to the wonderful poetry on PoetrySoup. Thank you so very much! (FYI, you must combine these two lists to get the correct rankings: http://www.alexa.com/topsites/category/Arts/Online_Writing/Poetry and http://www.alexa.com/topsites/category/Arts/Literature/Poetry. Of the three poetry websites ahead of PoetrySoup, only one is a true competitor.)

We would especially like to thank those PoetrySoup members who continue to contribute positively to the community; in spite of the few flies in the soup. Your continued positive comments, and upbuilding contributions make PoetrySoup what it is. The light will always blot out the darkness. Remember, never let the immature actions of others dampen your spirit. Continue being positive, upbuilding, and kind.

I was on two other poetry sites prior to discovering Poetry Soup. I like them, but could not be active on three sites. I visit them on occasions, but Poetry Soup is my kind of soup. Everyone is kind and encouraging. Let us keep lifting up people, and in so doing, we lift up God and His world.

What wonderful news! Congratulations TPS. I have tried other poetry sites but yours is easiest to access and has the most helpful features. The new audio is very nice and the new way you have the listing for contests is a real improvement. It is easier to leave comments. WOW, TPS, that's AMAZING news. I'm going to thank you Guys, right back! Thank you for all the new and wonderful features. I also want to give thanks to my EX-, who introduced me and my sister To poetry soup over 6 years ago he also contributed so many PM's on my behalf. :) This is a wonderful therapeutic site. PS... I find your fly remark rather FUNNY. LOL, I see we've grown on you and this is your way of saving the fly swatter for later. :) Anyways, I will continue to smile and be kind to all. PS I thought I'd let you know that I was interviewed by the Centrifugal Eye and made sure to mention Poetrysoup. Once the journal is launched (should be this month) I'll make sure to include a link. Figure a small mention in a respected poetry journal is positive, upbuilding and kind, n'est ce pas?
