Wheels Up
Why does the trolley
dolly or cart
I choose to use
in every supermart
always have a wonky wobbly wheel
and feel oh so wearing
as if it's about to lose
its marbles or ball bearings?
It clunks like junk with a 'thunking' sound
and almost dumps
my groceries on the ground
won't go straight
invariably tilts veers
careens or curves
and without a doubt
indubitably gets on my nerves

ode to wonky grandfather clock
Wonky grandfather clock you are so much fun to see
Loving it that my father created you just for me.
Your curvy sides make me smile, at least once a day.
Your chimes and bells love to whistle and clink my way.
No one else has such a clock I am pretty sure.
You make me happy, your intentions are

Wonky
Waste of heart
waste of life
waste of tears
waste of time
wasted of all
what was mine
crocked thoughts
wonky mind.

Kinda Wonky
Wonky is nature's norm!
Our obsession with straightness,
conceived in arrogant innocent bliss,
kowtows to a belief
that adroit straightness
following straight lines,
somehow makes things stronger, smarter,
more eye-pleasing and ever better in the long run.
But entropy knows better than the 'know-alls',
that everything transforms and decays
to maximum disorder in time.
For order and straightness
requires the input of energy
and effort that entropy lusts
to

My Greatest Pain
Making ends meet, dad was always boxing mum

Mum has been the dad amidst manly chores
the tide of tussle toil round our hut
As i grade the route of crowning mama proud
She given the greatest shock from his

Stick Wonky Line
Do as the Roman's..
He was writing a rhyme,
but hadn't found the sound.
So, he smiled and said Hi,
as She calmy sat down,
She inquired about time,
He said, for you I don't mind.
She says Oh Honey,
will you help me please.
My Wonky's gone sticky,
and I need relief.
He say's, hold on,
Just what do you mean.
Well, it Seem's OK,
Show Me, your

A Wonky Monkey
There once was a poet who screeched like a monkey
Belligerent cuss and stubborn as a donkey
Was quite disputatious
Boringly vexatious
In fact, I'd be inclined to label him a bit wonky
Others have mentioned he's much too bodacious
Unyielding when he's wrong, gruffly tenacious
Liked to spit and spatter
Madder than the Hatter
Victimized fine poets and fiercely predacious
One should wonder if
