Raw? Depends on what you saw.
Disaster? From jaw.
Who's the master? Real or raw?
Melee, mighty, maw...
Peoples of the ocean blue?
Vehicles to ride?
What exactly do we do?
Heaven and Hell, hide?
Tide of all tomorrows!
I requite you each!
Surcease of our sorrows?
It must be in our reach!
Peaches grow in gardens?
An orchard is the place.
Wolverines dwell deep in dens!
Rage lurks on the face!
Tyrant of the desert storm?
He's been keeping warm?
Hornets, scorpions, on swarm!
Foment, O my form!
Charm around the ruler's neck?
This will keep safe lords?
Sullen summertime, thy speck.
Light of Sin, fill gourds.
Judgement? For a prophet?
By what right, sir, and when?
Now? Well, this is, Tophet.
O dragons, from thy den...

Harry and Hilda Herald in Halloween
haphazard handsome Halloween Harry
has hurried helpless hapless Hilda of Herrington.
ghosts, ghouls and gruesome ghoulish ghouls gather,
greasing Hilda’s handy hardy robust ready rolling pin.
wizards, witches, werewolves and wild wooly wolverines
want wacky wonders warmed and wise.
sassy suave scintillating superheroes hire Harry and Hilda
to harmoniously Halloween harmonize.

They used to put the mentally unstable away
for their own good and for the good of society they say.
Society evolved and said NO! this is wrong.
So, they closed the institutions releasing the unstable
from their stables- praying that society would stabilize.
Now we've got tent cities brimming with instability.
Some unstable types have made it as far as capitol hill
and beyond.... perhaps.
Now it's payback time
the herders have become sheep
the sheep have become herders
with a couple of wolverines sprinkled in between.
These are strange and sensitive times...people.
Society was much happier when it was high
but eventually somebody had to go to work.
Back in the day people were somewhat genuine
now its all-saccharine grins and plastic handshakes.
If you don't stay within the everchanging lanes
they'll hamstring the flesh...
Although you've still got your soul
but your soul never put food on the table
unless you were that one in a billion-manna man,
Amen.

I cannot vacation in Siberia she said.
There are wolverines there.
I would be promptly dead.
She knew they were fierce.
With huge claws and a crushing jaw.
She had heard the nightmarish stories from her own pa.
They would rip me apart, eat me for lunch.
My fear is gigantic, they would rip me a bunch.
We pointed out that it is no mystery….
No wolverine has ever attacked a human in history.
It did not matter.
Her mind was made up.
She would not go to Siberia.
She would stay home with her pup.

I
Some words remain prophetic through time
Giving and yielding fruit
Like Jeremiah (29:11); Ezekiel on my heart
Of wickedness that will shock even me
Unless someone heals My heart of stone
Isaiah knew too I am fearfully, wonderfully made
Like tigers or wolverines & the Tasmanian Devil
II
When God created all & more
His masterpieces came effortlessly
He did not sweat it out, willed most of it
Perhaps chose to "dirty" His fingers with Adam & Eve
That personal touch, his signature
And we use words creatively as He did
In his image, then
Declare masterfully:
LET THERE BE LIGHT

there's a bloke in this cafe wearing a cape
a macabre, satiny number
who does he think he is?
no one brings it up?
this clobber
this kind of attire
who wears 'em?
the neanderthals?
wolverines with thick fur
sewing tools around the campfire
a fifty-thousand year old siberian needle
for hoodies and beanies
the man of steel used to be evil
perhaps like this fella with his cappuccino
i tried power posing
in front of the mirror
i wore superman t-shirts
when sitting my a-levels
i wore a white lab coat
for my biology gcse test
no cigar

Well-established wonder-stricken wayfarers will work with wizards,
who worry worm-eating warblers will wander by with Wyandottes.
Witchdoctors wallowing with Weiss beer will widen willowy wonky
widow’s walks. Who? What? When? Why? Why not?
Wonderful wearisome woolly Willies whose wrinkly wiggly whatchamacallits will weigh whizzing wingfish whipped wildly within Widow Williams’s whirlybird’s window wells. Who? What? When? Why? Why not?
Why wayfarers? Witches? Wizards, Wolverines? Witchdoctors? Well, woks, workbenches, wobbly wickiups, were wildly wanting whiffle ball’s wishful wildcats, which is why we were willing to wind up wolves, women, and worst-case woodcocks into worthy wayfarer’s winter wineglass widgets within wonderful, wise-cracking
woodland’s wee-folk who reside within wizardly wigwams.
Who? What? When? Where? Why? Why not?
Warm whoopee wayfarers welcome willing witchdoctor's whizzing whatchamcallits on Wednesdays with wonderfulness.

The little wolverines are swiftly prowling by
the moon arrives to peer then nigh n' nigh
it gives away to sound, hooves and mental folly
as canis greys howl deep by bullet, rifle, brolly
The forest folds her secret from here to eternity
while the hunter puts down gun and armory
The moon bids last adieu and then she swift departs
while wolves lay photographed for sake of purit-art;
A deadly give away for aim and single shot
"you either love them, or you love them not"
Geographic love of animals and prey,
even bestial animals know how to pray.

She is an alien. She comes from the sky. She is a shapeshifter. She is a transformer. She is a changeling. She can shape mice into wolverines. She can transform alleys into expressways. She can change whispers into revelation. She is swifter than a comet. She can fly rings around the world. She is an interstellar maverick. She is a space cowgirl.
She is an alien. She comes from the sky. She has eyes that see the future. She has eyes that see the truth. She is warm. She is kind. She laughs at my jokes. She is a soul hunter. She is a slayer. She is a necromancer. She dances on the Moon. She sings to the stars. In my dreams, she sings to me. She was a princess in the sky. She is a queen on Earth. She is the First. She is the Other. She is an alien.

“GO BLUE!” I hear the crowd scream,
the fans all get excited and blow off steam-
University of Michigan rocks college football,
as the Wolverines prevail and Ohio State falls.
Maize and Blue with Michael Jordan jumpman,
jerseys to die for, everyone dressed in the stands-
A touchdown is scored and the crowd exclaims,
“HAIL TO THE VICTORS! Tom Brady in Hall of Fame.
I grew up in a family where you must marry a fan,
so, I married my Nicholas, he loved me for who I am-
We have season tickets in a Big House suite-
to the Michigan Wolverines, you can’t even compete!

Winter landscape
The landscape was white like frozen waves
smoke from farm chimneys went straight only dispersed
when meeting the upper sky.
Ah, this innocence of virginal snow cold as nun`s cell.
The boy sat in the cow-shed warming his hands on the udder
of a cow, later, he walked on snow so pure it made crushing
the sound that broke the snow`s hymen under his foot
But there were tracks after hares, birds, wolverines, and
the opportunistic fox.
Blood in snow, like a sheet on a wedding night the sacrificing of
the lamp sanctified by priest and church.
The fox had caught a mouse that built a tunnel under the snow
thinking it was snug and safe.
A crow sits on a tree watches the scene with irony in it black eyes,
afar someone calls him in for breakfast

Looking back, I don't feel so bad
there wasn't much I could do.
Even all the superheros
couldn't save me from you.
Captain America's shield
couldn't have stopped the pain.
All my efforts to understand you
were all in vain.
Not even Thor's hammer
could keep you from me.
You always came back
and could never let me be.
Even if I possessed
the Hulk's pure strength,
I couldn't stay away
for any great length.
Wonder Woman's lasso
couldn't get past your outer shell.
Your real feelings and emotions
you were never willing to tell.
Wolverines Adamantium claws
couldn't have made you stay.
No matter how tight I held on
you were able to rip yourself away.
I thought you were my future,
Or at least my shining knight
Although it hurts to admit it,
maybe you're just my kryptonite.

GO BLUE!!
University of Michigan Football- Into The Blue Contest
Labor Day comes it's college football season
my family has been waiting all year
some think it's crazy that the reason
is University of Michigan football is here!
Maize and blue, the colors of the team
dazed and confused I become the black sheep
my hubby and daughter stand up and scream
while I secretly pray for their score in my sleep.
See, I'm a closet fan and always have been
I pretend not to care, but I really do
I need to know what mood hubby will be in
oh my, how we love the wolverines... GO BLUE!!!

Welcome me not for
"I" have been here before
That strong luminence only
ancient night's recall
From my lofty throne angels soar
bleakly-shining they bring you more
Welcome me not for
all other god's will concour
When the sun chose to rule dayly;
gargoyles, vampires, wolverines and all
bowed to me for they saw-
"I" only could give them more

Along with a haunting horde trick-a-treating
Dressed as ghosts, ghouls and goblins,
Dancing dwarfs and teetering giants,
Despicable despots and snarling demons,
Pirates, warlords and mercenaries,
Blood-sucking vampires and wolverines,
Dracula, zombies and Frankenstein,
Skeletons, Spiderman and scarecrows,
Walking deads or the Grim Reaper,
Pretty princesses or the wicked witches,
We too tagged along with this
wild and weird looking carnival,
Hiding our sinister thoughts
and evil designs behind
our smiling Joker's masks
to garner the most candies and toys
with our macabre charm!
Very much so as in our mundane lives
Each morn after a fitful night,
We put on the masks of
good cheers and civility,
Hiding the day's concerns and care,
Envy, hate and jealousy
behind a hypocritical smile and keen dress.
But on this eerie night of Halloween,
We get to let our masks down for a while!
