To Whomever, Again

To whom this may concern
What lesson am I to learn?
Let the bridges burn
Nowhere left to turn...

Lie to me and tell me everything is okay
Talk to me, your words decay
Lie to me and tell me I should stay
Wish this feeling would just go away

Why is love so easily said
When will I get out of my head?
Where can I go instead?
Before I wind up dead...

To whom this may cause some distress
I think we've caused enough of a mess
Time becomes less and less
Check, like it's a game of chess

Check and check again
Page after page, pen after pen...
Game after game ever since way back when
Lying to myself that maybe someday I'll win

Lie to me and walk away
Talk to me, I don't know what else to say
Losing everything in order to pay
To go back, I wish there was a way

Surrender

Surrender to love.

Let whomever go.

Have the courage to continue to live.

And know that you were brave enough to try to love, even with the puzzle pieces you did not know.

Whomever You Wish To Protect

Whomever you wish to protect,
Try to his enemies to protect,
His unsafe territory inspect,
Though the worst from this expect

Whomever you wish to protect
And you couldn’t his problems detect
Your offered services it would affect
The unpleasant ready with its effect.

So, security once your prospect,
You keep addressing every aspect.

she is tranquillity
yet lava flows in her veins

cut her open and you'll burn

she is Eve's apple
nemesis to patriarchy

one bite and you'll bleed

she is a rainbow
an eagle taming storms

no chains can contain her

she is a pilgrim of passion
composing a trail of moments

inscribed on many a heart

she is beauty personified
but apathetic eyes remain blind

know her and you'll feel the calm

for i see her soul
illuminate through her eyes

so i break open the cocoon
to float like butterflies

ascending higher

kissing silent stars

smiles beaming like the moon
content in her companionship

Whomever a Woman Chooses Is King

Whomever a woman chooses is the king.
No table round will ever square the thing.
All knights have equal access to the bread,
Even the stout are adequately fed;
Each squire gets equal pay for equal knighting.

Then Guinevere unsheathes the distaff lightning,
Uncoils her hair, so lustrous and inciting,
Plumps her lips with a berry crushed and red.
Whomever a woman chooses is the king.

Pendragon is ostensibly the.King.
And normally he doesn't miss a thing.
But Lancelot is naked in his bed
And Guinevere is humping him instead.
"No man above another" has a ring.
Whomever a woman chooses is the king.

Whomever

In the midst of sparklin' tune...
Where speaks that colorful loon...
When those smells are summer hot...
In an old so dreamy spot.

Here, where angels bright were sent...
In such most desirable place...
Memories new and bold...
Captured, in time and space.

Such become of childhood dreams...
As do echo us it seems...
Fed by fragile mobility...
Our demons just nobility.

Of souls unafraid to roam...
Thus eternity become our home...
Bliss thus ours forever...
Our wish so to... whomever.

To Whomever Has Loved a Horse
Knows of that of which I speak.

To feel an equine’s glorious power
Quiver and tremble beneath one’s limbs
The emotion brought within
Can cause even the most stoic noble man
To begin to tear up and to begin to weep.

To see one’s own reflection
In the pools of their almond shaped eyes
They are the master
Of the human depth of understanding
Always given up in their intelligent vision.

One cannot help but grasp their love
Hold on to their mane and fly
Fast along the earth
As if for a moment, Icarus
Flying high above the earth
On golden wings…
Not afraid to die.

If only Icarus had known
He could fly on an earthly steed
He could have saved his soul
And flown on a glorious horse…
It would have saved his soul indeed…

Instead of failing on false wings.

To Whomever Loves Me Forever

Warm like the sun
Your face enlightens me
In a world so cold
You keep me burning with heat
So hot it melts all my doubts away
I want only your love to follow me
And keep me alive and strong
For I am simply a woman
Who doesn't know where she belongs
But with you, I know my place
And you can completely erase
All the things from my past
That can no longer touch me
You are my light in the darkness of mankind
The flicker of hope that lights the path
You are the wind beneath my sails
That keeps me afloat on life's rough seas
I love you more than my own life
And give all that I have to you
My love, my light, my eternal partner
Thank you for all you have given to me

Whomever

The leader of a land,
what an enormous chore,
some take lightly,
our inner core.
One nation, one God,
hand on ones heart,
respect is given,
when the Anthem starts.
No excuse will be good enough,
if one doesn't believe,
stand at attention,
or turn around and leave.
Since the beginning of time,
people disagree,
but one thing always certain,
we will fight to remain free.
