Premium Member wheres the beef

where's the beef?
Wendy's most famous advertisement that went viral
this ad disrespectfully put down other chain's hamburgers
Indicating their meat patties were small
soon a catch phrase for the 1984 Presidential election
makig fun of Gary Hart and Walter Mondale
Nashville songwriter DJ Coyote McCloud made it into a song
this catch phrase was "on fire" in the US for a long time
my children used it to poke fun of everything unlikeable to them.
this commercial was hilarious featuring an older lady Clara Peller
she had the perfect face and expression to pull it off

Wheres That Smile

Where’s that smile of yours today
What do you mean you put it away
Do you want to bring everyone down
We don’t feel good seeing you frown

Do you at least have it close by
Before you make all of us cry
Perhaps you have it in your pocket
Or do we need a key to unlock it

I can see that your feeling very bad
Otherwise you wouldn’t look so sad
Is it something that you can talk about
It might be a help to just let it all out

If you give us a smile or just a slight grin
You can then release all your endorphins
Forcing that smile can bring you a boost
Then some of your stress could be reduced

Premium Member Wheres the Beef

Where’s the beef? The old woman said.
I still see her bulbous nose, parading in my head.
She opens the bun and the hamburger is dinky.
My thoughts about this oldster are incredibly kinky.

Where’s the beef? Was soon printed on white t- shirts.
We were all naming the old lady, us Ethyls and Gerts.
Wendys was bringing people in by the busloads.
I was one of the easily led, coming in on all back roads.

Where’s the beef? Was on billboards against the blue sky.
It brought chuckles a plenty, none of us wondering why.
The old lady with a bulbous nose made us laugh until we were sick.
An advertising executive no doubt got a raise with that gimmick slick.

Premium Member The Whos Whats Wheres of Life

The who’s, what’s, why’s and where’s of life
Brought to you with gusto and enthusiasm
Courtesy of an inquisitive five-year-old

Why is grass green?
Why is the sky blue?
Where is that cloud going?
Where is Jesus now?
What’s the name of this mudball?

Who made this road?
Why did they call it Dorothy Street?
Who is Dorothy?
Do I have a street named after me?

So Hard To Feel Other-Wheres Part 2

I
The You that tells various organs to start, end, adjust secretions, and your lungs to do respiration while you sleep ... will easily join SPACE where it all is ( where it's at!)

 II
You and I are "allowing" the universe a human experience; just as waves allows the entire ocean to experience & absorb individual waves

So Hard To Feel For Others, Other-Wheres

I
The voids between galaxies
Look empty, but in the way of Zero
Black Holes and voids hold Eternities
The universe is a multiverse too

II
How do I, with such Space, identify?
Here: ground after the ground where I die
Where war breaks out, we ARE one family
When tsunamis suck millions of lives!

III
In life we will have days we WALK globally
Some did when Mandela walked FREE
and some when OBAMA led democracy
TASTE now eternity in a Void, do not avoid

Wheres the Happy Button

As you push me into darkness
it shivered
between the good and worse
i always choose the yet
cant live without the pain
did the darkness just dim
I am that weirdo
that you attract
stray strayed
give extinction its chance
in the rain and night i dance
waiting for a phone
that takes a picture
everywhere at once
Wheres the happy button
Alexa exist

Wheres the Love

Break from blowing heat
tip-toe creeping on concrete
trust cut deeper holes.

Wheres My Chicken Leg

Wheres my chicken leg
I'm not going to beg
I can't believe i lost my good old leg
I wish i could find my freaking chicken
somebody better find it before i start kickin
I miss my little baby drum stick
I'm about to hit somebody with a brick
I'm not playing
Whoever has it better start praying
Because their dead
There going to see a lot of red
I'm going to put them in a hospital bed
I might even give them a mouth full of lead
When i use my good old shotgun
So they better run
Because I need my chicken leg
This is just sad
I'm pretty mad
And to tell you the truth it's pretty sad
I'm about to go tell my dad
About how i lost my chicken leg

Wheres Recovery

Deep within me lies all my sins
They sit on a pile of thoughts of what I could have been
They're intertwined with every moral I thought by I lived
Slowly smothering my Gods will
Always bringing me back to if I had never taken that first pill
Where is there recovery for me?
Dressed in my sins from head to toe
They've risen from the bottom, there's no where else to go
Every single days the same
Everyone can see my problems
But I still don't know where to go,
Where is there recovery for me?
I still have these dreams of being more than I am
But sometimes it seems my dreams are a message in a bottle,
drifting away further and further from the shore
And this ocean is man made of my own mistakes and regrets
of my lost dreams and my lost friends
of every thing I wanted to achieve, all the things I wanted to be
but went and sipped on that lean instead
My souls aching now, for recovery for me.

Wheres My Bike

Well, Hello children, it's Christmas eve
so, Ho Ho Ho, time to leave, got to go
Rudolph says it's about to snow.
Elve's worked hard, throughout the year
making toys, to spread some cheer
for all the good girl's and boy's
nothing for naughty one's, so full of noise.
Remember when,, you sat upon my knee
those lovely gifts, which you asked of me
wait til morning, check your tree
go see if I came down your chimney?
Where if I have, your stockings will be.
So ride your bike, ring the bell
go kick your ball, shout and yell
or, maybe a doll, with stories to tell,
You behave all year and you get your way
so many reasons to love christmas day
off to bed early, so you dont overlay
and brush your teeth, you won't like decay.
And if you hear a sound upon your roof
chances are it's from a reindeers hoof.
So many children, you wouldn't believe
at least I only work on Christmas eve!

Wheres Wally

Where’s Wally? where’s Wally?
The customers all cried
Where’s Wally? Where’s Wally?
Do you think he’s gone outside
It’s market day, it’s busy
It just shouldn’t be allowed
We’re never going to find him
If he’s out there in the crowd
We know he’s got his glasses
Woolly hat and stripy vest
It’s kind of like a camouflage
He blends in with the rest
Where’s Wally? Where’s Wally?
Wherever can he be
Don’t worry, here’s Wally
He was sitting next to me

Wheres Dad?

Dads gone now
I don't think we will see him again
We have moved on in our lives
Left him where he stood

His new family didn't need us
our brothers and sisters don't know us
so wheres dad?
Where did he go?
Whats his deal?

He helped to bring us to be
Then walked out to start a new family
Like we don't make a difference
Every stop sign passed every road taken is farther from him

I used to cry the nights away
Now I hardly remember him
I have grown up with out a Father figure for a long time
Mom was having a hard time taking care of us
I helped..

She now has a guy that loves her whole hearted and wont ever leave
I am so happy for her and i love this guy to he has been the Father i have never had
And he treats me like his son no matter what we have went through...

I have found my Father now

This Week In War Baseball (War Is Supposed To Be Crossed Out; Wheres Strke Thru Text?)

Congress is bitching again, trying to make it look like they’re doing something.
But they don’t give a damn; career politicians know it’s a scam.
But do they know this is real? And realize the power they wield?
I don’t think they care that they’re shipping kids to battlefields for a war without reasons.
And the media doesn’t care or dare to ask questions that should be hanging in the air.
Who cares…..? whatever sells more advertising time.
And is george bush high? We should probably get him tested.
Neh never mind…. Instead let’s try to get steroids out of baseball, cameras out of
football, fixes out of Bball, yeah just ignore this week at war and flip it over to sports center.

Wheres the Love You Had?

Every night you throw punches,
every night you don't let us sleep.
Wheres the love you had for her?
Wheres the compassion you should have showed?
When you said I do did than mean I will hit you?
When you first hit her, did you realize it?
Dad I can't stand to see mom cry.
Mom I can't stand it when you let him torture you.
It's killing the family and making us cry.
Dad your going to kill her.
Mom your gonna die!!!
It's horrible to hear the screams every night!
It's depressing to see you bruised up mom.
One morning you'll never wake up.
One day we're going to loose you,
both you and dad.
You always said not to let a man touch us,
does that apply to you too?
It's the next day you don't leave the room mom.
You don't get up, I don't think you can.
Why are they putting that blanket over you?
Why are they taking dad away?
Mom!! Wake up!!
Where'd my sister go?
Where are we going?
Who are those people? Why are we here?
Where's the love you had?
Where's the love you had for us?
Where's the love you had for each other?

To all those women who let a man boss them around like wothless trash.

You deserve better. =)
