A-rush
In a feather ruffling frenzy
cooling the flamboyant sunrise
muffling the warblers
with waffling winds
chilling the audience
in an ice-like stare
your shivery essence
ricochets through the canyon
startles the cliffs
bellows amid the echoes
of yesteryears challenge
stirs a red dust devil
they call you cold, December
for they are frail
and cannot bear the sting
of Winter’s hoary kiss

NOONRAY IN WINTER
Noonray in your navel
a locus for language light
whale wave wishes
in water songs kisses
as July just jokes along
Winter wonder words waffling
storm crown chakra baffling
cold she stirs potted iced rice
as rain rigorously roars
Noonray holds the dice
On hailstone highway she
instantly marries marigold
instinct with indigo intuition
timing tactical thunderbolts
favouring floods for nutrition
Noonray in silent shiver
shake or hide shelter seek
a game of glum greeting
Winter knows no flotsam
fathomless figure awaiting
Noonray no wee whimpers
or white wisdoms waste
in a wineglass she slithers
six seamless seasonless
sweets simultaneously
… then quivers !

Where has it gone? I had it thus...
To make bold a troubled mind.
For as you see... it's up to me
To keep the dregs in line.
I feel naked with its absence...
Unsure how to bear the cost.
Beset with want and worry...
I search for what is lost.
I peered 'neath my feathered bed
But only dust was there to see.
I checked beside the bellied stove
But naught was there to be.
Full of righteous waffling...
With mirrored judgments to process.
I alone... would cast forth stones
To rid the world of excess.
With an arrogance stoked in hubris...
I found along the shore of pride's debris...
My true companion and trusted friend...
Oh sweet hypocrisy.

I try to write right,
But often write wrong
Do you think this might
Be my poetic swan song?
I hope it is not
I'm having a blast
I want to pen something
That makes people gasp.
Gasp with delight
Or maybe in horror
They even might
Feel pangs of sadness and sorrow
Burst out with laughter,
spontaneously
This poem was
Penned by the infamous me.
I have thoroughly enjoyed,
Scribbling today.
I did not mean to
Blow your brains away.
If it did, would you please
Blow them my way,
I can feel the breeze
I must go; I cannot stay
Said The Old Duck as she waddled away.

she smelled of unstable
an upgrade from offline
like a magnet folded in two
she had me sputtering over gutters
whenever she was looking for action
there was no getting bored
i was but one of a billions souls
who's timing was all wrong
it's a wonder i ever belonged
i was readily decomposed
changed into another compound
waffling like an improper synonym
and then she asked me for money
something about poweraving
i heard gaslight rhythms
and my PTSD set in
i put her in a cage
she never asked again

Funny for the food that falls
Funny for the laughter
Funny for the mood that calls
waffling ever after
Funny for the time
Funny for the habits
Funny for the way we are
coffins ever after

Morning Trek Into Sanctity Of That Invisible Place
I have walked into that secret haven, found solitude,
where in harrowing, sorrowing hours, agony gnawed this soul,
nevermore was an oath I sworn in my aching discontent
I a hard chained prisoner to my once vengeful attitude
burnt in bonfires of torturous regret, taking hellish tolls.
Morning trek into sanctity of that invisible place,
came a visit with Mother Nature, its magnificent trees,
flowing in with the waffling breeze, music- a repentant song
a pleading call, to stand there in its beauty and again face
magnitude of the loss I bought, pray while falling to my knees.
I have rose up, to see wondrous and magical love in life,
renewed in faithful spirit, grateful eyes now no longer blind,
seeing for the first time, hope and resplendent colors of love
joined world that no longer held power by its accursed strife
then I felt at ease, found peace of a truly contented mind.

She had so many chances
Yet she kept muffin it up
Butter intentions were good
Just not much coffee in her cup
Couldn’t make a good decision
Too much waffling back and forth
Always peppered with doubt
Should she head south, no maybe north
Still, she was fun at a party
I would say, hummus a tune
She’d say, "Icing because I’m happy"
As the words began to croon
Maybe that’s what’s most important
Omelet let her off the hook
So she’s always in a pickle
Doesn’t do things by the book
Once again, I’m gonna help her
Since she is such a good egg
I said, girl, you’d go much farther
If you weren’t such a nut Meg

At least I have an understanding now,
Of what's causing all my pain,
It doesn't really help yet,
It's still driving me insane.
I'm having trouble sleeping,
My pills make me feel sick,
My head's filled with cotton balls,
It really feels quite thick.
I have extra bone growing,
On the vertebrae in my neck,
C five, six, seven and eight,
Oh my, what the heck?
I also have a degenerative disc,
At C three and four,
Yes, I know I'm waffling,
And my issues are a bore.
But, if I have to suffer,
I want you by my side,
So, don't go running away,
There's no where you can hide.
I have an indentation in my shoulder joint,
From a suspected dislocation,
It crunches and cracks on movement,
The pain is beyond explanation.
My knee swells regularly,
It also turns bright red,
It's caused by fluid building up,
Due to a miniscule tear, they've said.
If I was a racehorse,
The knackers yard would be for me,
Oh, I can't cope with this,
I'm going for a cup of tea.

Bemoan the songs unsung for want of melody and tongue.
Bewail the sorrows unlamented and veiled, for want of a good sob.
Waffling silent tunes echoing and rattling in the cage, trapped unexpressed.
We humans can only hear the flaps and rustles of the unsung,
which roost like bats inverted, upended in trees unheard, cloaked, silent.
The unsung lie on the ground, unheralded, unapplauded, unlauded, quiet,
never played out.

A ship in a dip is a duplicate of a massive six ton truck echoing at nine miles an hour in a tunnel. Oh traffic rather stoic today. But trafficking is often great fun for gerbils weighing in at over eighty pounds. £ % £ % waffling. Waffles and lots of cream. Iced curves in mazes. Vast tunnels of elephants then. Played with a big shrew in a big field. How great the ears of a geological gelding reading an encyclopedia in reading glasses. The small antique table. Steady hands are hooves. Freezing is the device of a used tabletop tablet score. Wisdom is neither obtained from a scientific sheet or a statistic paper. Lust lusting laughing leering leaning longitudinal leftovers. And a very smiley face of a bin. Bean beaming braking branching. Hahahaha and now a big wave waving. Hahahaha and a minnow. Xxxx jeopardisation. Xxxx palaeontology z

The Westward Wind
The westward wind whistled,
As it whisked wildly pass,
Weeping willow trees.
Weary eyed women watched,
As winters wayward wrath,
Wreaked havoc through its breeze.
Waffling warm winds weaving,
As wounded workers,
Walked, the winding path.
Wailing Whippoorwills whispered,
Welcoming words of warmth,
From the westward winds aftermath!

When I am all alone
all I do is to think of
you my Love day and night all long
and on a silvered fluffy clouds
I go waffling along to you
filled with joyful dreams
of you and I my darling
and softened the misty
moon and the dotted stars
from heaven above seem
to stretch out their regal arms and
singing sweet lullabies of love
they sing to me of you
and how much my love I just
adore your face and your
heart of gold
with all my love for you like
eternal shining stars
from heaven just dancing for you
with all my heart thinking of
Just you
And up above a crimson sky
and clear blue sky my true love
for you just soars to your inviting arms
and with a very sweet an passionate kiss
our hearts will be singing
angels sweet lullabies of love songs
as warm waves of only love
for you so sweetly will go just up
and down with you just dancing
forever and ever in a true soulful
passionate kiss my love.
