Winter's Coming Kiss

A-rush In a feather ruffling frenzy cooling the flamboyant sunrise muffling the warblers with waffling winds chilling the audience in an ice-like stare your shivery essence ricochets through the canyon startles the cliffs bellows amid the echoes of yesteryears challenge stirs a red dust devil they call you cold, December for they are frail and cannot bear the sting of Winter’s hoary kiss

It has happened here John what you so eloquent describe. Just south of Watertown New York they got five feet of snow. Yesterday. Many areas got three feet. I live in Upstate NY and soon we will have several feet. I hope all is calm in your neck of the woods. This Poem of yours really hit home with me, we take our snow and winter seriously in these Northern part of New York. We live 15 miles south of Montreal. We live in the Village of Dannemora where the two convicts escaped, Matt and Sweat.

There is a huge prison called Clinton Correctional right in the village. It is an awesome site as you drive into the Village, the prison is huge and it takes over the village. We live about approximately 300 yards from the prison. We actually hear the officers tell the inmates to come in when thy' re in the yard during recreation. They use PA system. Hope your having a great day...
