We are light and noise when we are together,
A world of shared laughter, forgetting the weather.
Your presence is sunlight, a warm, golden glow,
Where the smiles on our faces have nowhere to go.
The jokes and the stories, the carefree embrace,
Leave no room for shadows or sorrow to trace.
For hours, we exist in a bright, vivid hue,
Two lives intersecting, feeling brand new.
But then comes the moment, the quiet goodbye,
A flicker of doubt in the back of my eye.
And as you turn homeward and fade from my sight,
The vibrant world dulls, losing all of its light.
The echo of laughter still rings in the air,
A ghost of the happiness we used to share.
The world grows more silent, the colors grow dim,
Like a lighthouse that flickers and fades at the rim.
The feeling unwinds like a thread wearing thin,
Leaving an absence where you once had been.
The memory is held, a comfort, a pain,
While waiting for the moment to be bright again.

To start with she hesitates, if at best,
Then unwinds, loosens up, forward to move
And begins to show tides like interest,
Immerses then in art of making love,
Not in any hurry to reach the crest,
A dove before, she now gets into groove,
No mean moist, in mood, looks for privacy
To give immense joy as spouse so happy.

Note: Here is a verse (in Shardul-vikridit meter) from Bhartrihari’s Shringaara Shatakam (hundred verses on love and romance). This verse is about the love-making ways of women-- how from being hesitant initially she becomes so passionate to leave aside all shyness. Here is the transliteration:

Live long enough
and we end up alone
No matter our fortune
no matter our throne
Life will have sway
as our journey unwinds
One breath at a time
— our voices unrhymed

Quote: "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words," By Poet
*********
It glides—not gently,
but akin to a scrupulous scalpel,
a syllabic salve for rusted throats
and trapped desires.
It drips down the well of grief,
melting into metaphor,
softening jagged memories
into pains that are easier to bear.
This poetry is not serene.
It is slick with secrets
and greasy with grammar's
serpentine filth,
and sentences thrum
through the engine of anguish.
You utter the words,
and the universe starts to shift.
A bearing in the brain,
a balm under the bruises,
and syntax strung, such as silk
between broken cogs of memory.
Each line is dense.
Each verse unwinds—
caught in the hinge of desire and pain.
Essence of the oracle,
gleam of refinement.
Let it spread:
a rhythm that caresses,
a mouthful of taut truths
seeping through the snags of silence.

like
shadows in
a slow-turning
waltz, they drift—
soft, unsummoned sighs
from corners of the mind
where dust forgets to settle,
and yesterday pirouettes silently.
dreams once bright now fade, tulle
trailing in twilight, ankles kissed by
cobwebs of sleep. Each step unwinds
the golden thread of almost-memory,
echoing rhythms never quite born,
never quite gone. They circle,
spiral, shimmer, vanish—
the dance of
forgotten
dreams.

Bullets have no eyes
In the mourning a son won’t rise
No plan in life for demise
Black men hear our cries
Stop shooting killing each other
We need love not hate brother
Time unwinds while you slang
Dealing in death please change
One mother and father miss
The hope denied by this
Feud so rude and senseless
That dude who killed their kid
You think you had reason to
End a life will bring misery blue
For you have to face the truth
Humanity is lacking in you
You can never undo evil deed
No matter what you plead
At night your closed eyes see
His eyes as life leaves he bleeds
Now your family members know
Who you really are in your soul
A killer despite reasons why
In a cell of a jail you will reside
When you choose to kill a man
You turn from God’s holy hand
You do the devil’s work indeed
You become a slave never free
So we lost you too you see
No longer an asset to be
No longer in the community
Not free to thrive and dream
Can you at least give back
By deterring youth from your path
Can you tell truth and testify
Reasons bullets have no eyes

Glimmering orbs, so frail, so clear,
Drift in the glow of fate’s frontier.
Born on breezes, wild or kind,
Their paths entwine, then slip behind.
Each sphere a tale, both carved and held,
Of hearts made whole, or softly felled.
Through love’s warm hold or anger’s blaze,
They etch their arcs in unseen ways.
Some meet in whispers, soft and brief,
Others crack loud in shards of grief.
Yet every scar, though swift to fade,
Binds lingering threads where ties were made.
In storms of wrath or seas of grace,
They shine one breath, then lose their place.
Each gleams a truth, a life’s refrain,
Of fleeting joy, of quiet pain.
Though time unwinds their fragile forms,
Their echoes hum through silent storms.
Each bond, a chord that softly sings,
Of love’s sweet ache, of broken wings.
In Chance’s sway, they soar, they sink,
Their traces linger on the brink.
For even when their light is gone,
Their touch lives bright in hearts they’ve drawn

Each star has a pattern all its own;
so far away, this cannot be shown.
Stars are envisioned like our Sun;
brilliant and fiery till they are done.
And so we imagine each as a sphere
circling the outer space atmosphere.
With patterns unknown, we use our minds
to conjure up what musing unwinds.
Perhaps, as lovey snowflake designs,
each star is etched with celestial signs;
or like Ursinia- flower's name-
shaped like stars with gold petals aflame.
Stars twinkle on with planned Cosmic goals
letting their magic sky fill our souls-
begging wishes come true in their glow;
searching for patterns we'll never know.

When I tell my story, the past unwinds.
Poet me
Poetry
That’s the treasure that you find.
A narrative woven from threads
of joy and tears, As words flow forth
like a river's stream I relive each moment,
relive each dream The highs and lows,
the twists and turns A story of growth,
of lessons learned
When I tell my story, I find my voice
Whether you listen or not that’s your choice
I said whether I like me or not, that's your choice.
At the end of the day I will tell my story
I rise with the sun
I let my melanin glow
Rhyming and vibing as
If I did it before.
where every thread is a memory,
a moment, a choice.
The fabric of my past is fragile,
prone to unraveling,
yet resilient,
for it has shaped the person I am today.
I find solace in the knowledge
that I am not alone
With each spoken word,
I confront the ghosts that haunt me,
In my mental home.
When I tell my story, memories unfold,
With every word, a chapter's spun,
Of laughter, tears, and lessons learned, begun.

In shadows deep, where fate entwines,
A prisoner waits, as time unwinds.
With chains that bind and fears that loom,
He faces the dark, the specter of doom.
A voice calls from the depths of night,
“Fear not the end, for beyond lies light.”
In silence he prays, his heart beats slow,
For in this moment, the truth will show.
The gallows rise, a specter of dread,
Yet hope flickers bright, where angels tread.
With every breath, he confronts his fate,
A journey begins, though it’s never too late.
“Tell me my name,” he cries to the sky,
As the winds of life in the shadows sigh.
For in the face of death, he finds his flame,
In the depths of despair, he hallowed his name.
So let the winds carry his tale afar,
Of courage and strength, like a shining star.
For in the end, what we fear most,
Is the life we live, and the love we boast.

The discarded dead find an unused beauty,
an afterlife that curls, re births,
tunnels and reshapes -
a mulching of a former season's thin bones.
Mortality buds from an emptiness
long before the seed encloses it,
a mottled mold unwinds death to life.
See the genetics of the unseen,
see the shedding and replenishing,
a branching polymorphic architecture
that constantly furrows and gardens
the grave.
A self-determined choreography
of stemless minds, the unseen labor
before the upsurge, before the foundation
and the root.

“ Echo returns not the broken heart
But the stronger one with character as art”
Quote by poet
Echoes of the heart
Echoes of the mind
Lost in turquoise thought
As teal time unwinds
Echo returns not in vain
Sliding down animated face
Blue or red tears leave stain
And salty memories to replace
With sips of sunshine like sorcery
Willing wonderful memories new
Creating happiness hazel imagery
As if times were never sadly blue

deep in the thorns where the shadows creep
where roses bleed and dreamers sleep
a horned queen waits with hollow eyes
weaving doom in silken lies
her whispers slither through the air
a viper’s kiss, a lover’s snare
her laughter cracks like brittle bone
a crown of night, a heart of stone
one prick, one drop, the world unwinds
the spindle hums, the darkness binds
no hero’s blade, no plea, no prayer
can wake you from her wicked snare
so hush, my dear, and close your eyes
the thorns have grown, the kingdom dies

Outside of time-YET HE’S EVER PRESENT -Dedicated verse for Mother Chlorine Rodgers--
What do you know about tomorrow?
And today yet still you don’t know
The those things bout today tomorrow is both have passed on done N gone
Tomorrow what holds it the cord of time unwinds?
Whether withered weaving spiraling tunneling circumference-ing
Spectacular fleeting now future today’s memory transients
Slipping into the past in ever present moments
Wisdoms mindfulness encourages embracing here and now
Echoes then and now tomorrows crest
Infinitely I am upon my father’s breath
We are all outside of time, yet HE’S EVER PRESENT

soul tie soul tie, that 7 letter word, a blessing sent from heaven, something so heard, invisibly listened to, individuals secretly put as 2, a soul tie makes one, one soul and one heart, a soul love another even when the souls are apart, until death finishes time, until the soul tie unwinds, but your souls are tied, and the tears you cried, because the relationship felt tangled, but with a soul tie it’s all handled, it’s only tangled because of the distance, you hold on to the tie, because everyday you miss it, when your not with your other half, one thing doesn’t sound the same and it’s your laugh, as you watch from afar, you realise the person you are, you can’t laugh the same, and no one is to blame, your heart behind your body, is connected to somebody else, I’ve experienced that for myself, I was never told, it was just there to hold, hold onto so tight, to think about it at night, and as the soul tie crossed my mind, you did too, because I wouldn’t want to experience a soul tie with anyone but you,
