Will You Stay?

They say people come and go
But I hope you stay
Through all the winters and summers yet to come
Until every strand of my hair has turned grey,
Until I lose the last of my memory.
Will you stay?
To watch the sun rise and set,
To stay up till midnight for every New Year's eve.
Will you stay with me till all the tides
of the sea subsides?
To celebrate each year of our diminishing youth
But our love that still remains and grows
Like the roots of an ancient tree
With the unvarying likeness of Cyclamen flowers.
Will you stay with me until everything disappears?

Controversy

On the loom of existence, our saga unfolds,
Lives woven in controversy; a story is told.
A symphony of chaos, a dance of extremes,
A canvas painted with a myriad of dreams.

In life’s maze of choices, dim paths appear,
Paved with right and wrongs, joy and tears.
Interconnected like vines in a garden of fate,
In a delicate balance, a real precarious state.

The whispers of opinions, their clamors aloud,
Of “friendly advice” from a supportive crowd?
Steal my thunder, and firebolts spark debate,
Thru storms of perspectives, a way I’ll make.

Moral compasses spinning, destiny is unsure,
In the vast ocean of beliefs, tsunamis obscure.
Truth through a prism, is fractured and bright,
The kaleidoscope of day and unvarying nights.

Controversy will bloom like roses in the spring,
Prickly thorns on stems, each one with a sting.
Yet, within the turmoil, life’s lessons are sown,
A chance for true growth, and wisdom to own.

So, let’s embrace the paradox and duality of life,
Navigate the joyfulness, the troubles, and strife.
On the loom wheel of life’s controversy, is space,
For threads of understanding woven with grace.

Premium MemberLost In Darkness

Shaken birds shrill cry across darkened sky,
Awaken to the biting cold wind howls.
Taken by flash of lighting pulsing heart,
Forsaken stretch of night as thunder scowls.

Lost in the darkness, of pounding chill rain,
Tossed round from the flicker of leaves and trees.
Accost the meager unvarying light.
Frost thins to a slight glimmer quick to seize.

Fermata

You are a sustained landscape
one that changes only when you smile or frown,
        a fermata, an endless note
something akin to love strung-out,
pulled thin
until it vibrates at the same tone
as does love, but

not deep,
just the tension of a chord made to sing
as a vibration
upon an unvarying reiterative.

The landscape is in you,
the one holds the other in place.
it forms your stance and mien. From a distance
of years
I see you smile or frown, wave or turn your back
        from my outreaching arms.

The sounding wire is continuous,
only those minor wincing fractals
upon lips,
the corners of your eyes,
the bandwidth of a memory never changing.

The landscape does not build a thing,
not a brick or a leaf just
this constriction in my throat while I echo
the atonality of a mood,

and given the small modulations, your perpetual
disengagement,
and my need for this vision to change
even so, am I kept listening
to this
        ever e x t e n d i n g
minimalistic curtain-call,
a thralldom
to a reenactment that draws near to love
                        while rebounding away.

Premium MemberSundown

The sliding sun pigments the ether vermilion
His unvarying routine drives him toil worn.
Accomplishing his chore and jogs down wearily
At twilight, goes down the horizon slowly.
Brilliant and flaming glints become faded
And the colossal wings of the dark unfurled
His sapped visage droops and dangles
And found rocking in the dozing ripples.
The dark pervades and bids a cordial adieu
Again an electrifying dawn kindles a break through.

The Wrinkled Face

O wrinkled face!
You tell the story more than an age,
You hold a story book, that's too long to narrate.

O wrinkled face!
You reveals every lost and gained pains;
And every cherishing and despairing remembrances.

O wrinkled face!
Your is the beauty born from within,
Beauty that age and time cannot crumple.

O wrinkled face!
Your exquisite elegance cannot be dimmed,
For it radiates with beam of delight and felicity.

O my wrinkled face!
How virtuous is your central beauty.
I would love to gaze at your inmost beauty.
The beauty of perpetuity;
So juvenile in unvarying heart.

But,what's a subject that last long?
I watched at time taking his constant gallop;
None but impermanence conquers beauty.

And,Oh ! wrinkled face!
Now in the perpetual forwarding journey of old age,
You are crinkled,less beauteous.
