Tell me sweetheart, one more time
Say you love me, use a rhyme
Or send a song just for my sake
So from that moment I can take
And store that in my secret place
Inside my heart, not on my face
The outside world won't have a clue
That I am one and you are two

Life’s about distance
and lack of control
A search for redemption
someone to console
Closer than farther
then farther again
A distant horizon
new history to fend
Excuses are many
the reasons but few
Voices heard calling
though old were once new
A spirit still willing
a body that’s weak
My pathway desponding
—once more do I seek

Solo Uno

If one person remembers …
a legacy yet

If one person remembers
old feelings reset

If one person remembers
the words to reform

If one person remembers
—tomorrow reborn

The sky is so vast
I want this to last
'Til we kiss every cloud
Let my arms be a shroud
Securing you tight
All through the night
Keeping you warm
I mold to your form
Perfectly fit
Transfer, transmit
My essence to you
I love you, I do

A Country Song Numero Uno

Some times it's
hard to love you
When you make me
Feel so bad

how could happy times
And promises
Turn out
To be so sad

When you hold me
In your arms
You make
Everything alright

Yet the neighbors
And me all know,Baby
Your
Somewhere else tonight

    Chorus dripping with steel guitar
-----------------------:::::--------::::::::::::-----------------::
Truly I wish
You could be
Satisfied with me
Wanting nothing more

second verse of chorus
-------------+----------- ditto on steel ----------------+------------

True to me
I wish you could be
But you never have
Been able to before

Back to song
--------------

I miss you
When we're parted
Though your making
my heart bleed

I'll always have
the fondness but someday
I'll kick the need

And you know that I'd
be lying if I said
I wished you'd go

But I'm clinging
To the knot
at the end of my rope
And I thought that you should know

Close with chorus
--------------------
If so minded

Seven brave souls
left this place
for a hurried adventure
into space,
the shuttle that took them
was monstrous and strong
and those who built it,
thought naught
could go wrong;
but as Murphy would say,
and the fates decreed,
a disastrous adventure
it was meant to be,
for all the time spent
preparing the shuttle;
how easy it was
to overlook the o-ring
the size of a chip,
which lost its integrity
in the morning nip;
so seven brave souls
never made to space,
but in all our hearts
they found,
A permanent place

Now is the time
for the world to see,
what in the world,
we’re meant to be,
for us to unite
is the call,
for us to become one
should include us all;
heritage, language,
customs and such,
shall remain plentiful
and mean so much;
for these not only
are the bricks and boards
but the main ingredients
that unites our
shores.

I yearned for your love
I craved your touch
I wanted your love badly

“But what's love got to do,got to do with it?”

All you do is use and abuse me
And take my kindness for weakness
You don't appreciate me
Nor respect me as a person

“What's love but a second hand emotion.”

I’m done being your doormat
And I’m looking out for numero uno
Don't try to stop me
I gave and I gave

“What's love got to do, got to do with it?”

I have nothing left to give you
And I’m through with you
Good riddance, goodbye
I’m out of here

“Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?”

Uno

2/22/16

No one knows the demons I’m forced to fight alone,
And no one knows how I try to look for clarification through songs,
No one knows that I’ve been hurting for too long,
And in a crazy sense I no longer know where I belong,
My soul was here and now it’s gone.
It’s gone like the wind,
Now I’m forced to repeatedly pretend,
Without my soul only my heart is left to defend,
Defend the things that will never have amends,
And it feels as if I’m on a never ending binge,
And I swear to you my heart is singed.
No one knows that I’m anxious ALL THE TIME,
Or how I just can’t stop these thoughts overpowering my mind,
Or how I’m trying to find my way out these tangled vines webbed with lies,
Or how I just want somewhere that I can just call mine.
No one knows that music is my savior,
It can control and influence any and all of my behaviors,
But I solemnly wish that I could do myself a favor,
Nothing extreme, nor major,
I’m just having a hard time letting go of this player.
Uno.

No Justice In Uno

All seeking justice,come!
Let me look at your hands beyond dirt,
A calmed tongue like Dead Sea,
A heart,hurt apart,
JUST ICE!
Just melting like ice,
Flooding all over taking just,
Justice is to come from U,
U NO? You are the UNO!
To stay injustice,
Stay just!
Just adjust,
To stay injustice,
Just try-
Lending your hands first,
Linking your tongues next,
Remain hating injustice from your hearts,at least!

Even just cause makes not good war
If you attack you put to waste:
Good does no harm

Marshalling defence at your door
Can make bloody retreat in haste:
Shrieks of alarm

If you let the Dao lead the Way
Bad Guys’ll jump up and down in vain:
To tumble down

Even apt choices bring dismay
While you listless wait and bear pain:
Time’s the rogue clown

COPLA CINCUENTA Y UNO: This Bad Guy World

Evil pounces on the defenceless
The covert path beckons the Bad Guy:
Pollutes pure blood

Watch how the Bad Guys congregate unless
Good Guys en bloc block Bad Guy ploy:
Altar sacred

When plots are hatched covered with lies
With Security Council vetoes:
Who sucks profits

All trussed up by treacherous spies
Truth’s smothered in accursed ghettoes:
Rich man’s glove fits
