Unheavenly Poems

Premium MemberA Witch Story

Green was her face and ebon her hair,
features young, body withered sinew.
Her enormous eyes gave me a scare.
And, from one nostril, a ruby grew.

I stayed behind the large, surging crowd,
who drank her brew then made eerie sounds.
I was Press and we were not allowed
to view what happens on witching grounds.

Evil story would ensure glory;
not prepared for unheavenly ride.
A black gale blew, thickened by gory.
With it, black cats, ravens to her side.

Undead emerged shedding dirt--a fright.
With wrinkled hand, she stroked ugly doll.
Snakes sliding from ears, she rose in night.
So scared was I--wrote nothing at all.

The Murder

The Murder

As I went into next door,
saw a fellow just dead,
with the blazing eyes expressing
surprise and hatred.

For the night was still young,
and the sky lucid as never before.
I hot out of that placid cell,
which for a moment fell like hell.

With the flow of air,'
the utterments rose, every head
young or old, man or woman
got hold of that unheavenly event.

Soon arrived the men of justice,
Performing the folk lore of examining and judging,
searching the whereabouts of "scene of crime",
guarding the people from people themselves.

Just then a guy came cryin' and sobbin'
"Oh my dearest what has been done" said him at once.
Looked as if he was close to the dead one,
and yes, he was husband I heard from some.

Till dawn everyone were at thier place,
chattin' 'bout the whole night craze,
While the kin of dead sees her for last,
I stood right there keeping mourn.

And still thinking the same from last night,
"Why had I done it?"

Depression

As though there existed some thin gossamer veil
Drifting down from an unheavenly trail
First just a twinge ,a touch or a feel
A feeling of loneliness one cannot conceal

Leaving one melancholy, broken and frail
Piercing ones heart like an old rusty nail
Senses of unhappiness dost hang like a cloud
Chokes out this victim in depressing dark shroud

Sadness and angst attack easy prey
All signs of joy slowly slipping away
Beauty and happiness also recede
As depression takes hold begins to impede

All hope seems now to be fading away
Soon thought turn to acts sane people ne’re stray
Thoughts of escape, of end of release
Pondering how to make the pain cease

Oh why does this fog devour my soul
Why does this aching take such a toll
Affliction still lingers well after my prayers
Pain like strangers heart-piercing stares

Pure agony paralyzes my very soul
Then near paroxysm out of control
IS THERE NO FORESEEABLE END?

… alas as I plead my pain doth descend

Whispering Death

Gabrielle hasn't smiled for eternity
as a torture victom i know how he feels
he tells me there are war heros sitting on death row
judges more criminal than we know
he asked the lord to come make love to him
through me as i understand it
not a very happy holiday he's on

He told me of the way we hang our sins on jesus
a subconcious routine of our souls to smote an unheavenly enemy
the biblical code collected in three different books
the curse to break the aftermath of the enemies curse

Told me things happen for a reason
on a protest for god to take a turn
punished for doing gods work he says
maybe god should try doing his own job

psychology of belief systems all in place for this rapture
taking place and misunderstood
As confused as i am in the midst of his game to get me laid
i have pretty much lost all will to live

he says him and mankind are in the same business
here to learn the difference of good and bad
I'm praying for it to be over
than he informs me
don't be surprised if you wake up to hear about a dead judge
