Unfurled Poems

Unfurled Rose
“The unfurling of an alluring rose.”
She felt something gently stirring her heart
Gradually her senses flew off chart
As he caressed her soft velvety charms
Alien vibes, until held in his arms.

Steadily her inner radiance glowed
Secret special moments she'd never known
Tingling all over, from head to her toes
All her inhibitions away they'd flown.

She'd never felt passion so intently
Could it be a fairies tale, fantasy?
Truly her, igniting the world afire?
In a frenzied, ardent cocktail of desire.

The strings of her heart at last came untied
Releasing the love that she stowed inside
Alike birds on wings she flew high and wide
At last she felt free, no reason to hide.

She felt beauteous, as never before
At last she found all she’d been yearning for
The years fading away into the mist
In the romancing of a lover’s tryst.

“A rose with no joy or the will to live
Blossomed beneath her lover’s fingertips.”

Ill At Ease Or Unfurled

Is your pathway to Heaven now structured,
with words that your verse seeks to pray

Is your stairway straight up or diverted,
  remittance and debts to repay

Is your meaning construed or verbatim,
intention set free of this world

Is your love what was given or taken
—your heart ill at ease or unfurled

UNFURLED EYES

I’m fondly called by pretty name Gerald
It’s only a while I’ve come to this world
See pale faces smile in pain
Wonder if they’ve gone insane
Surprised, I look on, my blue eyes unfurled.

Carrying Her Great Honor As A Badge Unfurled

She had walked years through a dark desolate world
CARRYING HER GREAT HONOR AS A BADGE UNFURLED
Dawn came that Spring with its first rays of healing lights
She suddenly found no fear of devilish nights

She stopped early morn by a clear, fast flowing stream
Joy in heart, wondering had it been a bad dream
Birds were singing, first she had heard in many years
She splashed the magnificent green grass with her tears

Stepping back on long dusty road, her smile told all
Sweet love of Life had returned after her big fall
Now retracing steps from dark horror she had fled
She could face very worst and laugh out loud instead

Her honor had led to a path of redemption
From Fate's sad decrees, she had found love's exemptions

Kismet Unfurled

Gossamer adorned
Knotted love-laced bows
Neatly wrapped and scorned
Words carefully chose.

We dance this refrain
Dream-like sleep induced
Guided quick to fain
Promises seduce.

Pages rip transformed
Immortalized prose
Lover’s dreams performed
Reconcile compose.

Beyond broke to strain
Disguised truth abstruse
Blend until disdain
Kismet love reduced

Premium MemberPassion Unfurled

I must try to be coy
I must be demure
Traits of a “good girl”
Oh, but what is the cure?

He’s driving me wild
I’m starting to melt
Oh heavens, oh me
How good his kiss felt

I’m going to die
I’m feeling so faint
My deep craving pounds
Does he think I’m a saint?

I wish he would hurry
I simply can’t wait
My burning hunger
He MUST satiate

HE started this madness
HE set me on fire
And now HE lingers
While I burn with desire

The permission he seeks
Is there in my eyes
My patience wears thin
Passion melts my disguise

I see his eyes linger
On my cherry lips
They take in the curve
Of voluptuous hips

I move in closer
Shaken by the thrill
But if it takes too long
I’ll go in for the kill

My need relentless
I must take a dare
Undoing each clasp
My breasts now lie bare

This is my moment
His passion unfurls
I’ll end on this note
I’m one happy girl!

Unfurled

All I want to do
Is hold you in my arms and claim you
Mind body and soul
For you are the half
To my whole

I want you to be my one and only girl
The one I call my own
the one that has my heart
And the keeper of my soul
The one that watches my love unfurl
All I know is that im feeling light headed
And at peace
And like the part of me that was missing
Is back and feeling whole

All this time we were waiting for each other
All this time I was waiting for you
We have all these words
And we write them for each other
My words for you
And yours for me
And the expression of love
That has yet to be
