Lord, grant me peace within this day,
make each thought be undefiled.
Let your light only illuminate my way,
so when stress comes I won’t be riled.

Sometimes I forget that I’m not alone,
then I see your hand reaching out to me.
As today’s issues make themselves known,
I’ll instantaneously think of thee.

Premium MemberGrandpop and Grandma pop

 Image # 1

My dear grandpop and grandma pop
 Took a short vacation
I remember how my mom felt
Full of frustration

Mom depended on them so much
Babysitters were they
Days, nights and weekends were at play
They were supposed to stay

Grandma got so hot and went pop
Lost weight, wore stilettos
She changed from an older grandma
Studied all librettos

We were all surprised that she changed
She wanted a new name
Grand-maman she insisted fit
The children thought it lame

So, they still called her grandma pop
With new friends, it didn't fit
They weeded her out of their group
Now she bakes cake and knits

Also reads stories; does her part
To instill within each child
What is most important for them
To live life undefiled

Premium Member Dance of the Buffalo

In a canvas alive with whispers of green and blue/
A giant buffalo stands, proud, bold, with majesty pride/
Its horns, like arching galaxies reach for the sky/
The buffalo stands, proud, bold, a spirit true in hues that electrify the vibrant African plans long and wide/
Against the vibrant tapestry he commands your sight, a symbol of strength, a guardian of the night/
With every stroke of color, the heartbeat of the wild, a masterpiece of nature, untamed and undefiled/
Two black birds, guardians, perch near its might, they dance on the buffalo, in the soft morning light, Contrasting silhouettes, sharp against the hue, they whisper stories of the earth, in the vast African blue/
For in this vivid moment, in this sacred space, lives the spirit of the buffalo, his the freedom we embrace/
In the dance of the buffalo, where nature's voice resounds/ African history must be recognized as the birthplace of all humankind/

Who wants us to offer:
Unblemished gift

Untainted good works

Leviticus 4:31 Praise be to the Almighty Who forgives us
as we offer ourselves along:
Confession midst His compassion

Premium MemberDesperate Hope

The moon, a lantern in the velvet sky,
Watches with wistful, sorrowful eye.
Its searching light, a guiding star,
Illuminates the depths of wounds that mar.

Desperate hope, like a seed in barren ground,
Yearns for life; its whispers resound.
A lighthouse in a storm, fierce and wild,
Guiding lost souls with courage undefiled.

In unseen battles, deep within the heart,
Desperation dances, tearing worlds apart.
Yet, amidst the turmoil, a glimmer shines,
A beacon of hope, as precious as old wine.

Desperate hope heralds a brighter tomorrow.
It paints the night with hues of golden fire,
Igniting dreams, with passion to inspire.

Cherish hope, though desperate it may seem,
For it carries strength beyond what we deem.
In the darkest hours, where shadows creep,
Desperate hope lingers, eternally deep.

A Kiss

A kiss is a stamp, a seal,
of the taking in of the essence of one,
two-, to steal of that goodly feel.

A bliss, a steal, a clamp so true,
A gesture pure, from me to you.
It takes in essence, of the goodly feel,
A bond so strong, nothing can steal.

A kiss under the stars, a magical rite,
Whispers of sweet nothings, in the night.
It ignites a flame, a passion so wild,
       A connection that's untouchable, undefiled.

A kiss on the forehead, a symbol of care,
A moment so tender, that none can impair.
It soothes the soul, and wipes away fears,
A touch so gentle, that brings healing tears.

A kiss on the lips, a symbol of love,
A bond so strong, sent from above.
It seals a promise, an unbreakable bond,
A love that lasts, and forever beyond.

A kiss, a stamp, a seal so divine,
   It marks a moment, amore-eel
  electric frozen in time.
An act of pure giving, with nothing to lose
but a stare, can yet enliven, so there.
A simple gesture of the love of now, here,
but with so much to choose and dare, endear.

Southern Summer

In the oceans of cherry tree blossoms
Shades of pink and red ebb and flow like tides
Prehensile tails curled tight, sleeping possums
adorn the arbor eaves where she resides

The southern summer sun in sky abides,
as bleeding hearts and hyacinths bloom wild
to share his gifts that light and life provides
awaiting the grasp of curious child

Verdant virgin meadows yet undefiled
Open hearts and stems to honey’s sweet kiss
Those lone, fallow fields Winter once reviled
Alive and thriving with pink vernal bliss

And I, among them, drink straight from the tap;
dream honeysuckle dreams in Summer’s lap

Divinity

Nature of the heart and the mind of the supreme,
His essence, the nucleus, the imminent cream;
Angelic, pure, immaculate, and undefiled,
Naturally supernatural soul compiled...!

Like the flowerness of a flower, this enshrines,
Like the fruitiness of fruit within forms designs;
The Waterliness of water is its pure core,
Unseen other fore of the ocean is its shore...!

Brhman, Atman, Antaryami immenant, perfect,
Prudence, patience, temperance, and diligence decked;
Saintliness, blessedness, piousness, holiness,
All incorporated its marvelous fullness...!

In the fragments of the father son and spirit,
Its dignity possesses the highest merit;
Creating creatures in its own very image,
This dwells within each being like an unseen sage...!

How Does the Soul Enter Heaven

The soul leaves its chamber,
It goes on a voyage,
An eternal mileage,
The body is in an endless slumber.

The soul travels on a lone road,
Free from the earth's load,
Dazzling lights are seen ahead,
Not all about the place has been read.

The city's gates are made of gold,
Not any on earth has been sold,
The view is captivating,
A wonder-enchanting.

A tour of the city,
Only the undefiled can,
A home in its borders,
Not for transit lodgers.

Premium MemberThe Sign of the Times

It's the lack of grattitude,
It's the wanton desire.
It's the hopeless attitude,
It's the planet on fire.

It's the cost of living,
It's the war in Ukraine.
It's the unforgiving,
It's the realm of mundane.

It's the rise of insanity,
It's the falling of tears.
It's the search for humanity,
It's the preying on fears.

It's the blatant hypocrisy,
It's the bevy of crimes.
It's the death of Democracy,
It's the sign of the times.

It's the friendly neighbor,
It's the giggling child.
It's the honest labor,
It's the undefiled.

It's the sacrifice tendered,
It's the "None Left Behind."
It's the spirit unrendered,
It's the "One Of A Kind."

It's the cop on the beat,
It's the doctor on call.
It's the teacher so sweet,
It's the light in us all.

It's the Museum of Art,
It's the March of Dimes.
It's the hopeful heart,
It's the sign of the times.

Premium MemberFor Those Living Alone At Christmas Time

For your eyes only I have clipped the stars of heaven and sent them
                                shimmering down
For your heart only, have I gowned the earth with snow and
                                        delivered love to you

Like a snow fallen angel from my Father's stainless house,
I have longed for your arrival like a faithful spouse...
Pour yourself over the warming lights of my birth dear child,
I have set you apart alone, but you are not exiled
Inside Noah's ark two by two they came, pair-filed
but here inside this Christmas flame you are undefiled
come inside my warming lights, dear dear child of mine
eat my bread and drink my wine
come and live within my Festive, Sacred Shrine.

Premium MemberGiving Love Away

Giving away a small girl child
Only eighteen months old, but then
'Twas better circumstances when
The adoption papers soon filed
The adoptive family could smile
Biological father and brothers drinking men
Giving away

A small problem, Satan beguiled
Lead them astray, but once again
God had the child in His hand, Amen!
She has love in her heart undefiled
Giving away

Love Is

Love is sacrificial,
It gives all without holding back,
It stands to defend,
Putting itself on the line.

Love is a traveller,
It goes on miles to seek the desired,
It journeys with the beloved,
Distance is not a barrier.

Love bears every circumstance,
Thorns and thistles fraught,
Briers and nettles abound,
It stays close through thick and thin.

Love is a comforter,
It heals deep cuts and wounds,
It’s a solace for the bereaved,
It’s a prop for the troubled.

Love is an upholder,
It lifts from the basest level,
It carries on eagle's wings,
It channels positive energies.

Love is a boundless stream,
 Unpolluted and undefiled,
Sufficient for all who want to fetch,
Available in a serene flow.

Premium MemberTerra Incognita

Far beyond the reaches of the Milky Way
A galaxy exists which remains unnamed
Unseen by human eye or large telescope,
It is, to my knowledge, not yet defamed.

Pure and undefiled, suitable for living
In a Goldilocks zone yet to be uncovered
Fresh clean air, and an abundance of water,
Awaiting its coordinates to be discovered.

A terra incognita resembling heaven
Is just beyond the reach of our technology
But, we are advancing in our capability
To comprehend its complicated cosmology.

Someday, it promises a necessary respite
A new home for humanity in far outer space
When we’ve destroyed our home on earth
We can start ruining a new, pristine place!

Premium MemberA Perfect Day

Nothing so delights as a mother and child
Interacting together, oblivious to all around,
Completely engrossed in each other’s charms
Illustrating a special filial love so undefiled.

One sees this grand relationship at a playground
Accompanied by shrieks of glee and laughter
Unlike any other human interaction, I hear,
Sounds of pure joy, memories for long after.

Children come racing into their mothers’ arms
Sometimes with a skinned-up knee or a sprain
And only mother can make everything okay,
Afternoon at the park makes for a perfect day.
