The apple of my eye is a one for
An Amazon of an all in one
Being sourced from the Almighty’s Blessings
A paradox in discovery by Spiritual vision
Unsearchable among the highs and lows
As more precious than earthly
A glorious heritage with more respect for the reward
You are the Apple of my eye
I can never let you go away
Even when you are far away
From my heart you never go away
When our story will be told
Anthony and Cleopatra shall be kindergarten’s tale
My heart billows of love
Continuously being expressed
My deep affection for you
Resounds over a thousand hills
The more at your being I gaze
The more your fondness I develop
My love for you is mountaineering
Above the mountains resonating
You are my apple of ardor
I have crossed the Rubicon to love
Your tenderness as the gentle breeze
Blowing over the Mediterranean Sea
When I remember we are flesh
As a wisp of smoke
As roses wither in the garden
I must seize the precious moments
Of your exquisite love
Pure and so true
Undefiled so Divine
To carry you in my heart.

See the people watcher
Still as a mantis
Endless ambient sounds, unidentifiable
Does not prevent his gaze
He studies her eyes; her smile
And undresses her mind
The watcher finds himself
Transfigured
Her thoughts are not easily uncovered
A coffin, sealed; undefiled
The watcher will only find him,
Looking out as he looks in

Sotto voce a whisper sweet
if by chance we should come to meet
down in the valley where flowers bloom
shall we enter a two way street?
And if by chance this journey's fleet
with passion's effloresce complete
becomes our season's hope renew,
then would we love this vigil treat?
Inside that meadow of bright hues
will you wrap around my curlicues
and climb the tendrils of my vine
kiss me sweetly by heaven's blues?
Will my colors be rich as wine
when you hold me time after time
like the daisies tallish and wild
do you aim to always be mine
Long after sun has hotly smiled
Long after stars ablaze are riled
will you whisper to my petals,
sotto voce and undefiled .

Pleasurable haven,
Providing beauty and
Perpetual peace with
Purity undefiled.
Perfection unsurpassed.
Poesy lives here and
Permeates ev'ry heart.

Pleiades
One has to like the price,
which never fluctuates.
It floats,
like some suspended orb
imparted from another heaven, perhaps...
itself a consciousness unknown
and undefiled.
It is the good the ages seek,
still there before our eyes.
Were there a formula,
a prize to touch or taste,
it would not occupy the metaphor
of grace nor scorn its worshipers.
There's time to let the rain sweep down
the valley, time to revel
in the harvest when the fullness comes.
It's time to yield a little, come alive
to listen while the piper plays;
the air is sweet,
the song is of the eminence of day.
If there is any paradise
let us make room for it
within our precious now
though set upon with every fond device
of intellect to struggle to our feet;
the highest good not ours alone,
persists in that strange crystalline precipitate
when all is done—old Paul knew what it was
and called it love.

I came face to face with time
It was all sublime.
Nothing was as it seemed
For I thought “surely it must have been dreamed.”
I was shown the past, present, and future.
Then I heard the words, “are you ready for an adventure?”
As I stood there looking into the face of time
I heard bells begin to chime.
He spoke, “What do you see?”
I see destiny.
As I came face to face
I could see His grace.
There is so much more than meets the eye.
Yes, to sanctify.
But there is so much more,
Not only to restore.
To be set free from sin and death,
But to breathe His breath.
To walk in the elegance of His Bride
And from His Kingdom to preside.
As I stood with time face to face,
I was shown the human race.
From the first to the last,
Seasons went by fast.
What began as perfect and undefiled,
Turned dark as they were beguiled.
Down through the ages,
I heard the voice of sages.
Curtains rose,
And curtains had come to a close.
From the great flood,
To the shedding of His Blood,
There is a sound going out across the land,
That our Father God had planned.
Kings rise and fall
But only one will forever rule them all.
There will be a great division,
Everyone will have to make a decision.
Choose this day whom you will serve,
No one can merely stand and observe.
We are called to fight
And not by sight.
Put on your armor
And don’t listen to the voice of the charmer.
Keep watch and do not slumber,
Be ready to be counted in the number.
In the twinkling of an eye,
We will be caught up into the sky.
We have a supper to attend,
So with the things of God do not pretend.
For those left behind
There will be no place to hide.
As I stood face to face with time,
I saw justice being served for every crime.
Then I turned to look
At all those that had their names written in the Book.
All the tears had been dried,
And we will be with Jesus forever by our side.

I see the waves as they roll on the shore
With palm trees whistling the songs I adore
Sand like feather under my feet
And the grapes on the wines oh so sweet
The shore goes on for about a mile
Everything is beautiful and undefiled
All the flowers smell so nice
In this little paradise
There is nothing like living in paradise (the Bahamas)

T This mournful yet glorious story,
H Hath ever set our eyes on Glory!
E Entombed in an unsullied grave,
O On the Cross for us His life He gave!
L Lamb of God destined to sit on His Father's throne,
D Death He overcame for our transgressions to atone!
R Resurrected on the third day to live forever,
U Undefiled He promised to leave us never!
G Guards placed upon His brow a rustic crown of thorn;
G Gamblers cast lots for the garments He had worn.
E Early that glorious Easter Morn the tomb was bared!
D "Don't be alarmed!" an Angel of the Lord declared!
C "Christ is risen! He is risen! Spread the word!
R Rallying o'er the grave foretold by the prophets has occurred!"
O Overcome with joy His Disciples recalled Jesus' promise:
S Saying, "I'll die and rise again!" (Convinced was even Doubting Thomas!)
S So often debased by man, He rose to become The King of Kings!

What name is there to better lift one’s heart?
The name assigned to an innocent child!
By love, given to set the babe apart,
When life begins anew, fresh, undefiled.
We come seeking my name; understanding.
I bring cool waters to a weary soul.
I wash the feet of travelers in the spring.
A refreshing brook as I, make them whole.
My second name means loveliness with style.
Charming beauty, poise, refinement and grace,
A humble person, my namesake, I smile.
Virgin Mary’s mother does this name embrace.
Grandmother’s first name and mine are the same.
I also share my mother’s second name.

Sonnet
Far away in the West,
Far far away from my cuddles and caresses,
Lives my son,
Where rapid is the rise of the sun, where the sun is remiss to rest.
Where he is surmounting over all tides and tempest, searing snares and savoring success.
Where the winds herald his coming, where friends and foes at his behest.
Far away in the West,
Far far away from my cadences and caprices,
Lives my son,
In the land of dazzle, land of dare,
Land of fortune, land of absolute air,
Land of inventions, land of brewing beer.
Far away in the West,
Far far away from my dirge and distress,
Lives my son,
His dreams- a swift sturdy stallion,
Now smother him and saddle him towards shallow success.
The land where he once spent debonair doting days with me, is now a bygone ghostly galleon.
Far away in the West,
Far far away from my tears and trinkets,
My son , let me live in your heart’s undefiled chamber and let me glide in your soul’s virgin glade.

HANUKKAH
Festival of Lights/ Feast of Dedication,
As a kid, Hanukkah
was the Jewish replacement for Christmas,
But even better!
We celebrated for eight nights,
Which meant eight presents!
It was the festival of lights
We ate latkes or potato pancakes,
We Played with spinning tops called driedels
Sang the driedel song
Opened one present each night
Filled up ona chocolate money called Gelt
Got all the adults to sing along
In our beautiful nine branched candelabra
Called a hanukiah or menorah
One Hanukkah candle was lit each night
An extra candle, called the shamash, or the "attendant"
Was used to light the others candles
Oh what a memorable sight!
Antiochus IV Epiphanes, invaded Judea
Came upon the Jews with a great army, took their City by force
soldiers plundered without mercy, slaying a multitude of Jews
Antiochus spoiled the Temple, stopping the ritual daily sacrifice
Judaism was outlawed, circumcision was banned, an alter to Zeus was erected
and pigs were sacrificed in the temple, the people lost their right to choose.
Antiochus's actions provoked a large-scale revolt
Maccabees fought a guerilla war, and won the battle
The Seleucid monarchy was crushed
The temple was purified and rededicated
Undefiled pure olive oil was required to light the temple menorah
Only enough oil for one night, yet the oil burned for eight, the people were hushed
Hanukkah, a celebration of struggle and liberation
Whether or not the miracle occurred
Is secondary to our continual struggle to survive
We place the menorah with candles burning
In a window, to show the world
We’re here, we’re free, and we are still alive!

We are being Hunted!
Our sons,
More than our daughters
Our mothers,
Less than our fathers
By the hunters,
We've been made into a sport,
at their discretion,
Not served with protection,
But, sent
Straight to the grave,
By Black & White transport.
We stand at their command.
We stop.
We drop.
We comply.
We die.
Still...
Hunted....
& Endangered....
Not safe,
Living in skin,
Righteous within,
But viewed as a sin....
Therefore hunted,
Once again.
Going to church... Hunted.
Going to work... Hunted.
Having dinner... Hunted.
Enjoying life... Hunted.
Because how dare we
Not fit the stereotype.
Hair, styled.
Temperament, mild.
Lips, smiled.
Body, undefiled.
Degrees, compiled.
And,
Still profiled.
Still endangered.
Still hunted.

Dramatic Verse
She's highly sophisticated and full of undefiled wisdom
Yet a crowned Duchess in a paradise kingdom
Quite a beautiful angel flying with black wings
Covered in gold jewelry and precious things
She dresses like the women of ancient Egyptian class
Her wealth is generous and her money grows like grass
She loves orange scented candles with dark room flame
She rules thirty legions of soldiers and Bune is her name
Her comely warrior voice can wake and relocate the dead
Her armies of soldiers gather around the cemetery
She is brave and deserves a princessly crown on her head
Her facility of speech and flair for words is legendary
A beautiful queen to be treated with respect and honor
Instead of blasphemy, wanton abuse and fictional horror

Imperishable Inheritance
“3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” 1 Peter 1:3-5 NASB
We are born again to a living hope,
Through Jesus’ miracle resurrection.
Our Imperishable Inheritance will not fade away,
Or become subject to oblation.
It’s reserved for us in heaven,
But we must believe by faith.
The dead saints are awaiting their Lord;
Will soon hear the words, “Come forth!”
Our Imperishable Inheritance
Awaits our heavenly claim,
As long as we endure;
Our sweet Lord continually proclaim.
Thank the Lord, who keeps us from stumbling,
Through His dominion and authority;
Gifts us His joy, peace and sanctity;
Fills us to overflowing.
We will claim our Imperishable Inheritance;
The result of having been made immortal.
Praise God for this precious hope,
That promises life eternal.
In God’s great and wonderful mercy,
We are born again to the gift of salvation;
Given the power to overcome—
Delivered from eternal destruction.
It is through the Father’s love,
We stand blameless with great joy;
Claim our Imperishable Inheritance;
Christ’s resurrection to deploy.
A life of perfect undefilement;
Incapable by human flesh;
Dependent upon the Trinity;
All evil’s strongholds to banish.

As owls to oaks I know you,
in ancient springs, ravines and sunlit scenes,
persistently pushing passions and hushing lovings,
my immoratal instinct allowed to blossom in terrestrial precincts,
combined with you vulnerability is a prospect I render to the wicked,
salt is for sins, as sand is for sundown reparations,
with undefiled freedom wonders fly on winds
and no beast can deny my wins with you over fears by the years,
phobias of mean faces, painful places and shadows of my core crooked,
You are my star and I am your shine,
the mountains we climb, how strongly we do -
