Do not get carried away with a man testifying about you
The fleeting and lying world will dump you soon and leave you cold
Hard to explain your loyalty when your eyes are closed
Folly game they play, holding to unconfessed sins to do
Well, a judgment day will end them anyway
One thing is for sure, evil has no power for sure
Covered by the blood of Christ, sealed by the holy spirit
Manifest the father walking the path kept ahead to endure

To campaign
in poetry
but govern
in prose
Words stretch

Promising

Never been in love
Though I don't know your password
I will give you mine.
It's silly love song
I do not know the lyrics
But my heart sing it.
I'm not used to dance
I have feet not synchronize
Love made it this time.
Mouth may unconfessed
But the body has language
That heart can relate.
I may not known love
But since the time I meet you
Good reason to change.

In the city of silence, shadows dance slowly,
The garden of forgetfulness hides a secret lowly,
Dreams are born in minds that no longer believe,
People pass by, lost in thoughts that deceive.
Tolerance is the virtue of those without faith,
But how to believe when all fades to wraith?
On the pathways of conscience, I tread with care,
Deciphering voices lost in shadow's lair.
It's not the evils named evil we dispute,
But the forgivable ones, we often refute.
The world's a stage, playing roles unguessed,
Lines spoken without feeling, unconfessed.
In the garden's melancholic magic, I find anew,
Another truth I often dream to pursue.
Whispers of wind carry memories of yore,
The living flame of hope that endures evermore.
In the stream of consciousness, I let myself drift,
Between dream and reality, in the rift,
Seeking the light lost in unspoken queries,
On the wings of thought, to faded answers and theories.

Cursed by the malice of narrow minds,
Or perhaps ensnared by deceitful designs,
Its azure waves no longer crash the shore—
The White Zhaiyk* no longer overflows as before.
Inmate are the waves that once struck the shore,
Now bearing the weight of human error’s more.
Choked within, its mighty soul suppressed,
The Zhaiyk* departs, unbidden, unconfessed.
Hiding its sorrow, resilient and strong,
The White Zhaiyk* was carry own pain along.
Even as its lifeblood seeps into the sands,
Its wounded soul still sings and withstands.
Gone are the fishermen casting their nets,
The gulls’ cries no longer, their sun has set.
Instead, a stranded shore greets you today,
With ships marooned, lifeless in disarray.

We
live
a delusion
day by day
the illusion
we are free
independent
free spirits
to be
who we are
to do
as
we
please
when we like
able
to
choose
The
consequences
of ego
lie all
around
'til
this
hedonistic

it
percolates
through
our kin
It
is
known
as sin
but
is unconfessed
never
breathed
aloud
oft
considered
an illusion
so this
circle
revolves
who
will
break this ring
and

Behold the coming of the infidel
with his tanks and brigades in battledress,
where once barbarians on horseback fell
new destroyers hide new sin unconfessed.
Now Serb boots march where invaders have trod
on Muslim Srebrenica in blood thirst,
but where, O tell, is their merciful God
when the lords of genocide do their worst?
Will mortar shells discern installation
from infant flesh in the stone cobbled street?
Might enemy siege end in salvation
where ancient homeland and battlefield meet?
Or will more die in the cold snow and mud
when raised are partisan flags stained in blood?
Written: April 1993
Wrote this during the last terrible conflict
in Europe during the Siege of Srebrenica
almost 30 years ago. It seems not much
has changed. Back then it was Serbs and
now it’s Russians. History always repeats.

Time runs through the routine
day and night ordinary happens
my useless memory proceeds
your presence on my retina
You were always pilgrim and distant
my uncertain steps sans hope
dream of you beside is my fate
eternal dream dweller persistent
How many papers written in vain
unconfessed times paralyzed
memory of moments of pain
your eyes, lips, were glorified
my senses now deadened
portion are dry, portion strong rain

Sitting alone under the moonlit sky,
you made me realize,
my love wasn't enough for you to make a COMPROMISE.
EVERY TIME I wanted to turn to you
I was afraid you would find someone who would lean on to you .
I never said and you'll never hear
my untold words of insecurity are my DARKEST FEARS.
EVERY TIME you smiled at me,
was the time I dreamt of your future with me.
But I never thought about the game of DESTINY,
that my unconfessed love drove you away and made you HATE me.
And even though I can't see you anymore
I can still feel your presence making me sore.
Even though I can't reach you anymore,
I can feel your warmth just like before.
Even though it doesn't make a difference without you anymore,
the way you reached me makes me smile just like before.
And even though I don't see you anymore,
I will love you SELFLESSLY just like before

I love You in 5 Languages
David J Walker
How more than once
A vestal dance
A nights romance
Gesticulates alone
Perchance we heard
The same music as we
Glanced through colored glasses
At the golden moon
Bowing in the ballroom
Vowing erotic promissory notes
Suspected but unconfessed
In the street corner confessionals
I love you said in 5 languages
While mocking the intonations of
foreign words and the
Meanings that one-night can hold
I will meet you in the
Abandoned public garden of
Lost calendars
That only we can know

With selfishness that had rotted my soul
Along foul stench of decay-causing pride
Succumbing to shame midst grievous defeat
For Christ’s blessed pardon, I humbly cried.
Midst unconfessed iniquities, heart fails
As vows toward holy striving lose might
Cognizant of transgressions’ stinking molds
I seek the Saviour’s light to do what’s right.
Admitting my own human nature flaws
Exposing debilities and defects
I beseech God for sanctifying grace
To be cleansed from every sin that infects.
Grateful to the Lord’s preserving* mercy
My spirit persists to fight decay signs
Anchored by His ever-enduring strength
In exuding sweet smell by truth guidelines.
*2Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The snow laden sky hangs heavy,
as if bowing under a burden
of unconfessed sins
it cannot discharge.
Pregnant clouds
drag their swollen bellies
over fallow fields
that lie waiting for absolution.

Tormented by unconfessed sins’ grief gloom
My soul is vexed from its self-righteous poise
Defying it draws me nigh toward angst doom
Denying thereby haunts me with guilt’s noise.
Justifying as human nature feat
My heart blames pride of its dominion height
Midst the championing insult of deceit
Leaving me forlorn, bereft of bliss’ light.
Seeking forgiveness against distress-woes
My spirit clamors for serene haven
Trusting the Lord God to vanquish sorrows
Claiming His love’s clemency from heaven.
Grateful to Christ for His pardon-filled grace
I bow down to Him, exultant with praise.*
*Psalm 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Friendship changes
the tone of our
sad words
and put a fresh
smile on our
dark face ...
Friendship understands
our weakness and not
rebukes and extends
a helping hand ...
Friendship shares
unconfessed secrets,
and confesses its
own secrets ...
Sincere friendship
worths further than one
gold mine or an
oil well...
and provides us extra love
than a casual
lover...!
Friendship is a medicine
for all ills,
it's an antidote
against evil
of our souls...!
