Heaven And Unbelief

Kept shut up behind no wall
But that of unbelief.
Stigma of whose thought-material
Lies in its stubbornness.

Life's growing disaffection
A questioning wind seeds
Ivy-like, through cracks' expansion
To bring down nonetheless.

Premium Member Confession of My Unbelief

Every time miserable fear grips my heart
torturing each chamber with woeful grief
afflicting harshly, leaving panic-dart
to sorrow, overwhelmed by unbelief…

In moments of crises tormenting my mind
distress-filled, losing assured hope
beleaguered, confused where truth to find
anxiously groping for wisdom’s scope…

Whenever my soul wallows in doubt
questioning God’s omnipotent light
murmuring against His gracious clout
after having proven provident might…

Here am I guilty of faithlessness and unbelief
making my God powerless...
I now repent, cleaving to Christ’s compassion
since He’s my Saviour*, worthy of trust-verity.

*2Samuel 22:3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour...

Premium Member The Sin of Unbelief

There was a time when I disbelieved
in the true sense of what it's to believe
I knew not of the true living God
in this state, my soul could only grieve

But God was faithful never giving up
revealing himself in the person of His Son
this son of God is revealed in holy writ
the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour bar none

I thank God for the conviction of my sin
in my heart thinking what can I do?
the gospel which I never had heard
then in the mid-20s I heard this is true

This was such a revelation to receive
realising to not believe brings death
needing spiritual birth to truly believe
God is sovereign even to our very breath

Now for 37 years, I've followed Jesus
the one who loves me fully without measure
He went to Calvary's cross paid for my sins
setting me free to believe on my treasure

Unbelief

Nothing to prove an existance of Jehovah,
Relevant facts demonstrated on daily account,
Evolution brought men this far,
Scientific and ignorance underline after,
No God,no Jesus nor Holy Spirit amount,
Scriptures are forged and schemed in bar,
Bible is of no use....ancient manuscript pertains it as a diction..
Seven days to work, money is without invalid sheen,
Can't shun my job and attend church service,
Death awaits everyone's levies,
Christ even died if he is even alive....
Why war and terrorism all over if is true there is a God they claim,
I will always fulfill my heart desire since I am who I aim,
Had a convincing dream of horrific....chewed by worms in lake of burning fire and brimestone,
Turned my heart, mind and soul from the world,
Today I'm cloned,
New creation as old things far expelled,
New things at mode,
Declaring the words of the LORD in the land of the living,...forever I live,
The fools say in their hearts there's a short road.

Premium Member The World's Unbelief of God and His Word

The God of eternity past and future
has revealed Himself in so many ways
He walked upon this place called earth
performing miracles as God all His days

In the present days, He's given His word
the holy scriptures tell God's perfect will
sending out His call to come to Him
leaving sin so in His presence be still

In His son, we see God fully
being pure kind holy so divine
Jesus Christ begotten of His Father
reveals the heart of God to shine

So God has shown all of his counsel
yet man continually rejects His word
apostle Paul says they suppress the truth
like long lost sheep part of their herd

Oh this so burdens my old heart
man is lost themselves they don't know
they obstinately will not at all believe
no matter what defiantly say no

Satan has this world in his grip
leading them down the road to ruin
all the while God appeals with grace
do they know what they are doing?

Premium Member Judgement of Unbelief - Romans 1: 20-32

God calls all people to believe
divine truth being the true source
giving biblical evidence to be so
showing His power life changing force

Whether mankind decides to follow this
God will not allow His truth to fall
for He’s promised it will abide for ever
challenging all to obey His gospel call

But here He assures that all must stand
before the God of judgement no less
for if they reject His holy standards
His condemnation await those who digress

God detests unbelief being such a serious sin
for it blocks the way to God’s righteous path
they’ll be left to believing Satan’s wicked lies
condemning themselves God’s righteous wrath

(Romans 1:20-32)

Unbelief

A detritus
of malaise, tugs at my solitary hour.
There was a question of stature
amongst the old fractured feet.

What was it which made you feel
taller than your own son ?
I was looking at the antlers of a deer,
his round eyes were full of pallor,
I begin to talk in his tongue.

The terror of a man, a speeding car,
my childhood, moving in the dark corridor,
afraid of the unending highways.

Our Unbelief

Far away as we can be from one another
As if separated by oceans and lands
Contentment resides when no matter
The distance, I believe in you to the end.

Expectations can alter the view
When a deed does not fit
That will affect that precious bond
That connects our souls, causing a shift.

Your disbelief widens the gap
And suddenly you see a distorted picture
That tears your insides apart
And your heart has been hurt.

But when you remember your belief
And you keep reaching out
Because you can't let go, though you grieve
Something unexpected is found out.

As wounded you are, another is hurt too
Your actions have caused grief
To the one you thought had failed you
Stricken by the pain of your unbelief.

Far away as we can be from one another
As if separated by oceans and lands
Contentment resides when no matter
The distance, we believe in each other to the end.

Soon we will be close to one another again
We will understand the gift we have received
Our bond will reach a strength beyond gain
Because our love overcame our unbelief.

Scales of Mountainous Unbelief

An angel with her hands of equal height,
Her foot in the water,
Looking down on a man,
Sitting in a park,
Reading a book.
The book is called The rise and fall of the third Reich.

The Mountain of Unbelief

The mountain of unbelief hangs around the
believers only to bring unwelcome grief.
Hiding in our safe and solid places,
noticing all of our gloomy and hard faces.
Waiting just to hear us without the faith speak
of all our unaccomplished options and goals;
of all of the unhappiness around;
Just waiting and peering into our sacred lives
to catch a glimpse of that nasty frown.
The mountain of unbelief can shatter dreams
and change intended success as it brings
to all that feel they should wear a crown,
only the crown of discontent.
Break out of the the mountain of unbelief
Share in the dream, walk inyour faith.
Do not be the one to tolerate
Injustice in yourself.
Do not be the one to accept
bondage of your self.
Make the difference; shake off the
Mountain of unbelief!!
