All Scripture and Tradition teach that we should never fear.
Don’t wait to speak until you find a sympathetic ear.
But preach to every nation: Let’s be loud and let’s be bold!
Just like our Lord and Savior. Yes, and all the saints of old.
Let’s dare to be courageous! Daily pray for greater faith.
Cooperating with God’s gift of freely given grace.
To speak the Truth to old and youth, unhesitatingly.
For we are called to be unapologetically apologetic…
As those who went before us did so all those yet to be
Might understand Christ theologically, historically.
And we who struggle now, let this be our inspiration:
We’re the “saints of old” to every future generation!
So, dare to be courageous! Build your works upon your faith.
And, open to the Spirit, be accepting of God’s grace.
And speak the Truth to old and youth, unhesitatingly.
For, we are called to be unapologetically apologetic…

I want to be soft, yet strong
A gentle soul with a heart full of love
To be vulnerable, to be open
I don't want to be someone else
A fake, a pretender, a mask
I want to be me, with all my flaws
With all my quirks, with all my beauty.
I want to be kind to this unkind world
I want to be that beautiful girl my friends told me I was
I want to be who I am, without apology or shame
A human , created by God
Not the one this world's trying to make
I want to be a reminder that we are all beautiful, we are all enough.

I am a steampunk mind whirling against the face of new
Colorful in all directions, I like what is happening inside
I live my truth, my dendrites dancing in happy rhythm
Others complain they are stagnant, I live not to be
My pouty lips are natural, no liposuction or faux injections
There is blue green in my eyes with flecks of gold interest
I am an erudite, talented, eager, enthusiastic, and joyfull me
Stand back if you do not understand, for I am ready for lift off

excitement simmers
life feels lifeless
our world dominated
by a pandemic
days trickle
restricted by COVID
good morning America
COVID this
COVID that
six feet apart!
do as we say or
face unemployment
inject this into your body
wait not that
go to rehab tweaker
politicians
drive irreparable spears through Americans
their focus tunneled
votes, popularity, clout, greed
sit at the end of that tunnel
unity, representation, truthfulness
not in view
red or blue
should not divide
as we all bleed
red, white, and blue

UNAPOLOGETICALLY
The perfectionist execute his perfection unapologetically
Making the less-perfectionist slate himself unfairly,
unapologetically undermining his capabilities
without apology, appalling himself, friends & families.
Being unapologetically honest with oneself is rare
and self evaluation & self criticism is fair
but unapologetically comparing oneself to another,
whether from onset, medial or coda,
No matter differ-ence is unapologetically self-degrading.
Humans are constantly evolving & upgrading.
Penultimately, be unapologetically true to yourself
in being the best version of yourself;
But make sure being yourself
is unapologetically good enough to yourself.

I’ve worked for what I want,
And I’ve fought to be who I am.
I can’t live up to other expectations,
That defeats the purpose of my freedom.
I don’t want to be like others,
And others can’t be like me.
I’ve allowed myself to live without regrets,
Discover who I want to be.
Desire fueled my spirit,
And I could finally recognize my truth.
I’m not the way I used to be,
But I’m okay.
And In this moment,
I’m unapologetically… me

I saw your true self today ,
And am not pleased to know :
That the person I perceived as fire,
Is cold and white as snow.
I loved the mask you carried !
And the way your opinions varied,
With the people around you.
And l would keep it that way ,
If I were to be in your shoe.
But you let your emotions rule ,
You let your strength fade ,
And then expect me all of a sudden ,
To love you in all your shades ?
Hear me , take my word for this.
If you act well , I'll forgive you miss !
Just pick up that mask you dropped.
Paint your face with a smile and walk.
Keep your inside to yourself.
Hide your darkness in locked shelves.
Be the person who's more like me
Coz' the show must go on , you see ?
Do not show yourself wrecked ,
Do not let go off your facade,
Coz' No one loves a person ,
A person unapologetically naked.

I mount my steed
on decorative saddle
then trot into town
with a .45 brandished
to aerate my foot
since too dense
to be sorry for
this stoic limp or
whatever it was your
mouth just shot off about.

Unapologetic..
For realizing the comfort in perfect imperfections
For playing mischief with status quo
For the longing to touch as many lives in this lifetime
For the level of generosity that exhausts, empties and tires
Unapologetic..
For the bouquets of regrets, mistakes and struggles
Decorated in the flower- vase labeled ‘yesterday’
For embracing today as an empty canvas
To paint stories worth-reading-out to ones’ grand children
Unapologetic..
For loving him or not is a call you take, not him
For being innocently dreamy eyed as was decades ago
For refusing the templates guide him dominate him
For living truth, being him, being the best version possible
Unapologetic…
For unlearning the school-society -rules that murder creativity
For smiling to heart’s content, laughing over uncertainity
For disappointing the naysayers with unrealistic hope
For letting the heart win in the rope-race against mind
