Unapologetically Me

I’ve worked for what I want, And I’ve fought to be who I am. I can’t live up to other expectations, That defeats the purpose of my freedom. I don’t want to be like others, And others can’t be like me. I’ve allowed myself to live without regrets, Discover who I want to be. Desire fueled my spirit, And I could finally recognize my truth. I’m not the way I used to be, But I’m okay. And In this moment, I’m unapologetically… me
