There will surely be a guide ~
charting my path,
protecting,
and leading me
to my destined destination in life.
As if it were a promised payment
God made to me from heaven.
A visible hand
tucked out from an invisible tucker,
In a canoe on a river ~
gently rowing me along its flow.
Many near-deaths averted,
Many of life's debts miraculously paid,
many stale breaths,
yet never for a moment ceased.
All threats to my existence –
God canceled them,
sometimes with my sweat,
other times with just a little fret.
Yet still, I never got my feet wet or smelly,
even when I trudged through the sludge
left behind by life's avarice;
not a faint trace of the caprice
that clouds my destined destination.
There has to be only one explanation ~
providence,
not merely serendipity,
For I can see the hands of the I Am That I Am,
whispering their ubiquity,
through a tiny voice –
often feeble, yet ably affable,
I am cognisant of its presence,
especially when I disobey its warnings.
All these are never through kismet or fortuity ~
they are simply the ways of providence.
Case closed.

sawed-off on the
crimson emerald from a cloudy sky
squeal
and, at times, the reason
low-slung why
sparkles of a pearly salver
modicum of encrusted damask mist
befuddles me
albeit
moon, amber, and opalescence
spawn a charming sight
the perspective
strikes each crevice of the flesh.
and psyche advise
shrouded in a cinereous cloud
hapless and helpless, a glum-blue wolf
growls out a bluesy bemoan.
creating a lacuna
of gallivant love touchstone
leaden wails of anguish
rhythmic echoed refrain
plainchants of auric yearning
reminiscent of challah
aiming for eleemosynary seeds
cahoots to germinate and thrive

Perchance to take nocturnal flight,
where would wayfaring dreams land?
With the toss of a godly lot,
one’s fate is always seraphim certain
The place of destiny divine
remains a mystery to the pillow seeker
Cloud pillars of a dove climb
gives Urim oracle comfort
Leaping crisis hurdles
often causes one to spiritually stumble
Which turns a prairie task into a mountain
Allowing the sure-footed headiness of faith
to free fall into the patient bosom of grace

Man
makes this
reality
It's up to you
test
Clarity comes well born to dawn
With an undying, insatiable rage,
Gone are the times when love was ours
That permitted a wit to gauge
Free men once said that time based lies
Do marketh and strengthen our faults,
But now, we are, as ever before, the race that designed the vaults
Not now
Not past
Nor never still; a back to laden the burden
The rock that stands erect
Shall be the one that acts as Verdun
Because, all this, will never be, disposed of tranquility,
The Fall of Rome, the fall of man
Shall waddle in the sea.

Methinks pilots are such superior mortals
For their ability to make metals fly like fowls,
And soldiers have such an impressive mettle
That makes you salute their daring prowls.
Surgeons are such a precise and thoroughly seasoned breed
That will dumbfound with details of capillaries and veins,
And commanders-in-chief such colossal powers wantonly wield
Till they addict themselves to honor and extend their reigns.
A charismatic preacher will yodel tunes and heal the lame
And win a hefty standing among their peers in a moment;
The teacher is the final light and bearer of the last opinion
And their learned views sail without a single opponent.
But the poet is the chariot of thought that inspires them all.
He’s the silent roar of the Boeing with the pilot in,
He’s the muffled ricocheting of the soldier’s Kalashnikov;
The unspoken overtones of the preacher’s condemnation of sin,
The subtlest incision of the surgeon’s authorized blade
And the president’s solemn inspection of the honor parade.

Envy,
4 Letters that constitute a word in the dictionary
Definition
An error the fundamental flaw of the human race
A race that cannot be won merely prolonged
If no 1 cared about what anyone else had
There would be no reason to fight
As money would be rendered worthless, Beauty’s the norm
Land can’t be owned and to no 1 or thing doth you behold
Out of the ashes from whence
Ubiquity falls
2 towers shall rise
Signalling the kingdoms become
Envy for none
