Premium Member Sales Pitch Stain Remover

Your carpet sounds fine, but now wait!
You say there are spots here and there?
Some smudges show dirt that you hate?
The solution I will now share.

I'm telling you what you should know!
This Zap is the best cleaner found!
And like the commercial, I'll show
It's quick and works well all around.

Just spray it on those spots of dirt-
No need to scrub in or to blot!
Foam power is built in each squirt-
walla- and away goes the spot!

Like magic, your carpet will gleam.
No one will suspect dirt was there.
You'll smile while this cool, magic cream
will fix your stained rug with great care!

And just for the heck of it, too-
discounted now twenty percent!
No kidding, it's so very true-
you'll wonder where all that dirt went!

20% of petrol..Or gas travels through Hormuz..Yet are we being had, not all
Ships are blocked, so maybe 15% percent

Drop.? Yet there is talk of lockdowns.' By
Administrations world-wide.. I think well.?
No its obvious...We are being pushed onto
Some ill fated ride.'

AI versus HI -1

In dream last night when I talked to AI,
Our dialogue went on back and forth like this:
I said, look, we see what we like well nigh,
Hope, you’re not held with such human disease.
We can read misspelt words as fair and right,
I hope, you’ve acquired this ability--
To ignore what might fail to conform quite,
We can mute what distorts the harmony.
Wait, you see no more than twenty percent,
AI claimed, and make up from memory.
Is that so bad? I asked unrepentant
And this round ended to no one’s glory.
I woke with muezzin’s call at masjid gate,
The dream ended awaiting next date.

Premium Member Stultiloquence of the Room

I knew the women had arrived by the stultiloquence of the room
Chatter went up another twenty percent when mom arrived on her broom
Annual witch’s gabfest convention was a hit in New England today
The frightened ancestors of Salem’s accusers knew when to stay away.

Premium Member Uncle Jimmys Profits

Uncle Jimmy was always bragging about his profits.
He constantly had things to sell.
I made two dollars, a ten percent profit.
I made five dollars, a twenty percent profit.
I made seventeen dollars, a fifty percent profit.
Actually everything he sells gives him a hundred percent profit.
He has never had a job.
His father has purchased anything he thinks he owns.

Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics

The headlines blared “COVID-19 vaccines kill people!”
“More vaccinated people die of COVID than non-vaccinated!”
“COVID vaccines are a government conspiracy!”

Wait a minute, though.
Let’s think about this for a moment.
For argument, assume that the vaccines
Have no impact at all
On your dying of COVID-19.
The recent census figures say
About eighty percent of the U.S. population is vaccinated.
If our assumption that the vaccines have no impact at all holds,
Then we’d expect four times the death rate for vaccinated people.
(Eighty percent is four times greater
Than the twenty percent unvaccinated population.)

What even those who call the COVID-19 vaccines a killer admit
Is that the rate of deaths between vaccinated and not
Is far, far less than four-to-one in the United States.
It’s less than two-to-one by even the most extreme sampling.

What we must conclude, then, is that COVID-19 vaccines save lives.
The conspiracy theorists’ own data proves it.
Aren’t statistics a wonderful tool?

Premium Member Frangelico

There is a hazelnut-flavored liquor named "Frangelico"
It's named after a hermit monk who lived long ago.
This twenty percent alcohol spirit comes from Italy.
All over the world, it has gained popularity.
The liquor's brown bottle resembles a Franciscan friar.
Sip it straight up, or in any mixed drink you desire.
After you buy it for the first time in any liquor store,
chances are, when it's gone, you will buy some more.

We Treat Impotence With a Science

We treat impotence with a science,
And, we are proud of the results!
Twenty percent of our clients,
Were jailed for sexual assaults!

This Too Will Pass

I feel sick.
Feverish with chronic,
Long standing lung disease.
The governor here
Has mandated everyone
Wear a mask when they go out
In public.
Some people will have to wear it
24/7.
Makes it all that much harder
To breathe.
My name is not George..
My skin is not black ..
Yet how many times will I,
Today
Have to say
"I can't breathe."
I will count
Just for the heck of it.

More than twenty percent
Who die in hospitals,
Die from something they catch
In the hospital.

This is day five of
Mid to upper nineties
Two more days to go.
I have no air conditioning.
Perhaps it is only
Heat exhaustion,
What does it matter
When that is life threatening.

Dust storms in NV last night...

Lost In Dismay

Do you spend twenty percent of your time
  acquiring your beliefs

And eighty percent of your time
   in defense

Do you have blinders on
  about what you conceive

In fear of the critics
  pretense

Are your views narrow focused
  and then watered down

As the truth disavowed
  slips away

Is your memory tainted
  in times left to waste

As your efforts
  —retreat in dismay

Senior Shame

I want to spit when e'er I think
of how seniors are treated.
We worked and slaved all of our lives
and now we have been cheated.

We paid into the SS fund
throughout all our working years.
Now that it's time for some pay back,
Uncle Sam just looks and sneers.

The government has embezzled
(yes, that IS the proper word)
much of the money we put in;
I am sure that you have heard.

Our monthly checks are now so low
many struggle to survive,
to pay for food and health and heat
and merely to stay alive.

They say the cost of living's down,
so we do not need increase.
My water's up twenty percent.
Oh, when will this taxing cease?

The latest scam that they've employed
is reducing our food stamps.
I've never once had them go up,
'cause at cheating us they're champs.

People my age had "work ethic";
two words you now rarely hear.
Suggest to some kid that he work;
he'll just want to have a beer.

Ten years ago my income was
not quite half of poverty.
My SS's gone up ten percent
Now AT poverty's decree.

I could go on for endless time
of our shameful condition.
My generation built for today;
our future's under the gun.

Revolution

The smartest thing I feel you can do in your time here. If you've already failed what's left to fear. You will never regret giving in to what you hold dear. I played a game with my son controlled the peddle let him steer. Against a grown man we came in first. The father son team is something only bound to burst. His opinions only give positive solutions. Like a gas mask protecting me from pollutions. Trump or Hillary will never be the answer. A steroid only leading to cancer. I have faith our generation will be the next revolution. No presidential campaign. We are the solution. Not saying everyone's about it. Only takes twenty percent to not give a ****. That's my family my people six years. 300 standing strong throwing spears. All brought by one thing true love. Stop asking we are those angels sent from above.

Liquor

An empty bottle
leaves twenty percent guilt
and ten percent regret.

Bombs For the Starving

Alleys strewn with endless trash...
Discarded needles as broken glass
Shopping carts, these cornerstones
Of make shift homes; enslaved lives
Beaten hearts, grime clad children
Running wild; adorning downtown
Parks while suits pass by and sirens
Wail rushing past a starving dog; lines
Endless forming at the courthouse
Another day to pay these tickets ?
Jury pools overflowing; save the city
A model for her nation and aspiring
As unemployment declines towards
Twenty percent; Congress special
Session called from their highrise
Views an emergency you find to feed
The rich and famous and take up arms
To fight the Light this plight they cry
Can't you see as the gavel falls; here here.
