Turnout Poems | Examples

Who villa private pressing turnout?

Languaging the place is happening
A voicestro of ideas
And involvement
Obstructing legislation
Command and finance

The handling of its own press
Pressing solutions
In the middle of a fraud
Yet in all time
A take part type of gal and guy

Suppose a person asked a city for funding around rent for themselves, an office, range of ten thousand a month

Today cresting 5 billion in debt of unauthorized hijacking of home development law

Election Turmoil

Waited patiently in lines to cast the vote
The turnout was expected; patience was tested
Uneasiness, hungry, and tired enough to be tempted
To leave the line, but frustration heavy in tote

Some feel it was not a honest fair win
Ballots were burned prior to election
Should there been more ballot protection
Oh well, candidate chosen with a jovial grin

Just pray this candidate is honest and true
A lot of talk of what is needed in this nation
Many voters are celebrating with elation
Some voters will continue to be sad and blue

Everybody will not be happy no matter the circumstance
Its the fate of the political experience for voters
Both parties campaign hard with ads and funny posters
Switch. Different party, its like the nation qualify for a refinance.

A faithful atmospheric worth of you,
equal in statuesque rainbow possess.
Grace a forest wake to rumored jewel,
long drawn-out winks ethereal blesses.
Favoring flowers blossoming parades,
a living garden hails its ambitions.
Hovers a bee stared yearning serenades,
nigh turnout unequal kinds, auditions.
Ode claims Rainbow Butterfly to whom shares
glory to its signature character,
beliefs prestige for reserving crosshairs.
Incepts moniker beings cofactor,
chicks or the eggs, and who'll take second best?
Rainbow suave sky soars the aliferous.

Rave At the Gate

Rave at the gate, With chant and shout!
Make God mind how large the turnout
When his hand, so grand and devout,
squashes us like candles snuffed out.
Bid him not drop any more like flies.

Why must we not be more than loud,
In crying our souls ‘til hearts are drought?
All my dead with soul and without
Rave at the gate!

Demand rest of our souls unbowed
Unafraid from God and all proud
Today, the dead must speak for crowds
In memorials veiled in dark clouds.
Revolt for life; and all about
—Rave at the gate!

Premium MemberApathy's Elected Mayor

Everyone's talking about crime these days
     So few police, it seems thuggery pays

   No hotter topics than murder or theft
     No matter your politics be right or left

   Though in Chicago one issue's strictly off-limits for talking heads
     Mayoral race apathy - 32.6% turnout - means democracy's dead

Wee Folk of the Rain

Their mumbling again
Wee folk of the rain.
Each word and each syllable
A lisping, spat out.

Yond this dark window
Heard from my pillow.
Off leaf, jumping. Off roof tile
Sliding. One by one.
Of all that drops by for fun
A great turnout.

Rotten Games and Gotten Strange

12/27/21

Did poorly or was doing just fine
The outcome was negative or had a plus sign
Always not just sometimes
Being one of a kind
Under the moonlight and sunshine
When it took a turn for the worse or was sublime

No longer getting brushed aside
Seeking what it is that I must find
On the frontlines

Can't force it
Or forfeit
Held true or was horse

Bought it or couldn't afford it
Crystal clear or distorted
Unavoidable or able to be thwarted

Saw it coming from the crows nest
Meanwhile, most think they know best
As they struggle to clean up their own mess
Very quick to protest
In their ways they are so set

For the greater good or due to greed it was commercialized
All of this, I could not internalize
Something still stirs inside
It's tragic that humans and animals got burned alive

Better be something you're sure about
Or it'll have an unsuccessful turnout
Close and far from any birdhouse

So many rotten games
It has gotten strange
All about the profit gains
Not any pocket change

Therefore,

I doubt and doubt .
                                      Superficially I change a lot and turnout .
                                        Up and down ,side to side.
                                           I seek to have and hide.
                                         No one likes to see.
                                       The core essence of me.
                                    I transformed clothes to masks.
                                 Ready to answer who ever asks.
                            I give what they look for .
                        I lie, I LIE, unfortunately and therefore,

Did I really have years of experience?
or years of daily repeats. Repeats definitely
then I must indeed say

 my confidence has suffered.

My experiences come with pain,

In my love life or my work experience.

As I get older, I think I am developing a more of

I don’t give a , what people think of me

And once again, that stupid question

About who will attend my funeral,

Who I have a big turnout etc.

Who cares, just buried me under

That old mahogany tree, my father planted

Years ago...It would be sheltered me from

From the harsh world, my final resting place,

Love, lost, and hardship, they say love can

Triumph over hardship of any intensity.

Lost it so finale, can really anybody accept they fate

Did you think my x , accept his death,

Do he aware that he left us, last

February, would he have returned in someone else body

To dupe me again, into a retake of his mishaps/his lost.

The ones who tell the best story
Is the most observant one, to the craft?
A river is a body of water
With lot of stories to tell
Sadness and happiness, that was cast upon me.

Premium MemberGhost of a Chance

A tombstone cleaning workshop—
don’t bother the ghost…it’s sold out!
You can no longer finger this rest stop.
How about this Halloween turnout!

Will it be a Poppins extravaganza,
sweeping and polishing to Step in Time?
It’s a grave matter to the living, who plans a
cleaning party— the chance of a lifetime.

Nature Freaking Out

Greenish meadows, stony benches
Doves and crows toilet in bunches
Huge turnout..

Without fear of baited string bides
Flying fishes in lone seasides
From hideout..

Tree top squirrels wandered bottom
Like torpor kings in their kingdom
Free rollout..

Weeds and shoots sprouting from the soil
Dormant seeds sensing human spoil
They freakout..

Birds and beasts call on us to boo
World became a big human zoo
In stakeout..

It Depends On Someone Else

THE DIS ADVANTAGE OF BEING UNFAVORED
                          IN THE EYES OF HER FRIENDS
               MIGHT CAUSE YOU TO RETHINK YOUR STRATEGY
THE INFLUENCE OF OTHERS MIGHT MAKE HER TO PUT HER FAITH
                     IN THOSE WHO WISH TO SEPARATE YOU TWO
                       FINDING COMMON GROUND MIGHT MEAN
             DOING SOMETHING YOU'RE NOT COMFORTABLE DOING
               THEN YOU MIGHT LASH OUT AGAINST THAT SOMEONE
                                BECAUSE THE RESULTS DIDN'T
                        TURNOUT AS YOU PLANNED OR WISHED
                       WHICH HURTS HEAL TO BRING ON ANOTHER
                   MY THE SORES OF NEEDING MAKE ME WISER AGAINST
                                      BEING HURT AGAIN
                    MIGHT THIS MAKE ME WISE IN DOING SO

The Tracks Will Switch

This last ride almost over,
  the train coming to a stop

The mighty engine slowing down,
  my ticket punched and clocked

With words I left untendered,
  in towns along the tracks

My thoughts there drift upon the wind,
  my legacy attached

This journey seemed redundant,
   the scenery looked the same

But voices never heard before,
  cry out and call my name

The conductor gives fair warning,
  his face I know so well

“A turnout waits, the tracks will switch,
   to heaven—or to hell”

Buzzy noise
This and that issue;
Viral propaganda

~~~~~~~~~
We the people
Need more money;
Is that funny?
~~~~~~~~~

Polling booth
Simple truth;
Who dares wins?

~~~~~~~~~
Talk of town
Non-event sinking;
Stray voices pitch
~~~~~~~~~

A good turnout
Yours for the taking;
Mandate to lead

~~~~~~~~~
Good track record
Facts speak loudly;
Wet blankets galore
~~~~~~~~~

Lots to say
More to hear;
Dangling carrots

~~~~~~~~~
The Alarm Sounds
The alarm sounds and calls their names,
To stand and fight the smoke and flames,
They don their heavy turnout gear,
To meet the flames and face their fear,
Driving trucks with red lights glaring,
Into city streets with sirens blaring,
They soon find a house on fire,
And lay lines they will require,
Fighting fire in a deadly game,
Streaming water onto the flame,
With pounding hearts they crawl through heat,
To find lost soles without retreat,
When the flames die and all are safe,
they drive their truck back to their base,
They wash it down and make it shine,
and neatly roll each water line,
They swap stories and write their notes,
and tumble dry their turnout coats,
They hang their gear upon the wall,
and wait to hear another call,
