Start with more than one pinch of small-town Iowa mischief
Sixty-five cups of empathy
Fifty cups of understanding
Thirty cups of honesty
Stir until they are milky and comfortably pudding-like
Add a half a pound of trustworthiness
Set aside for an hour, maybe chill in the refrigerator
In a second bowl sift together
Three cups of common sense
Two cups of wonder
And a cup of sweetness
Combine them and drop by teaspoons full on a cookie sheet
bake in an easy-bake oven for ten minutes at three-fifty
Oops I forgot to add good listening skills.
You may dollop them on the top after the cookies cool
Then share the cookies with your neighbors, family and friends

to grow in His grace as we:
Abide in His assurance
Adore Him by His approval
Attend to His authentic affirming
Abound in His assertions’ affluence
Awake to His assistance along our accountability. Amen!

Let me leave the fabric spinning off "social lubricant."
Or the amino acid that alters brain attention
the alert, attentive, calm, cumulative jubilant
I attain at a cup of tea is beyond all mention.
There's a thrill when shades spill from black to brown to red hallow
Or in gold, silver, or copper amalgamation gleam
My heart, mind, and face become a melodious mallow.
Vigorous and victorious, indeed, is my day's dream.
Accommodativeness and trustworthiness all arrive.
Creative performance with divergent thinking does thrive.
Efforts of honesty and hard work spin into a hive.
Wherein cooption and collaboration are alive
Indian, Italian, or Iranian, tea is tea.
All that matters is, in each one's tea, what one wants to see.
Loyalty is the crux of a good relationship.
Outstanding foundation built on trust.
You defend your friend if you hear rumors
Allow the other person freedom to be himself.
Love enters into this reciprocal equation.
Trustworthiness is a must in situation.
You would keep their confides confidential.
Beauty is all around us in many different forms
Recognized “in the eye of the beholder,” so they say,
It has no particular definition, no special norms.
Dewdrop on a crimson rose, a solitary bird in flight,
The perfect sounds of a well-constructed symphony,
A baby struggling to walk, with all its might.
Beauty is a thing of unsolicited appreciation
Stands alone with no acknowledgment needed
Instantly recognized, sometimes by association,
Often in the accomplishment of one who succeeded.
Beauty is not always confined to material things
A disciplined life, well-lived, is a fine example,
Think not of fine cars, furs, mansions, diamond rings --
Trustworthiness is beauty -- far more substantial.

Our children are so easily astray
these Light's values build their innocent way.
Marvelousness and hopefulness
Joyousness and faithfulness
Loyalty and serve him wholeheartedly
Puffed upness and insulting and crudeness is not godliness...cussing, in other words, is Satanic honestly...regardless of what others say more or less
Not easily angered - how can I be of righteousness?
Trustworthiness and tranquility go hand in hand
Understand where our airplanes land...understand?
Love your enemies and neighbors as yourself
Love your family and friends as yourself...
Love all and hate no one...
Look up to His son...
Always.

Pyro-merrily, gyro-herapy,
lots of chatter, bright new ways,
all pointing to one result.
If we are kind to each other,
if we follow our natural loving hearts,
none of these ways or theories
will be needed by anybody.
Be nice. Be kind. Be considerate.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Live as well as you can, by letting others live their way.

Beyond happiness-overtures
My soul, wrapped with joyousness*
Exalts God’s redemption’s preciousness.
Against sin-guilt tortures
Surpassing sorrow’s despair gestures
My spirit, gripped by Christ’s forgiveness
Worships Him with grateful blissfulness.
Toward refreshing green pastures
Guarded from unbelief junctures
My faith, resting in the Lord’s trustworthiness
Increases to minister through His graciousness.
