FAITH IN GOD WHO DOES
WHAT IS RIGHT AND GOOD TO US
God does what is right and good to us with His compassion
To sustain us toward our journey’s destination
So we can lodge by faith in His covenant-direction
And stand upon His mount of holiness along His instruction.
God does what is right and good to us with His revival-fire
To grip us around His zeal He does require
So we can abide in His will by faith until our breath will expire
And live for Him through His love and grace that never retire.
God does what is right and good to us with His mercy
To deliver us from mischief’s conspiracy
So we can hearken to His Word by faith against inconsistency
And serve Him willingly upon dedication’s persistency.
God does what is right and good to us with His care
To wrap us in His peace against frustration-despair
So we can overcome by faith attacking sin-caused nightmare
And rest inside His salvation welfare.
God does what is right and good to us with His trustworthiness
To uphold us against falsity and deceitfulness
So we can call unto Him by faith in our steadfastness
And pray to Him confidently against unbelief and weakness.
God does what is right and good to us with His inheritance
To refresh and restore us through His ready assistance
So we can enjoy following Him by faith, devoid of resistance
And obey Him while confessing our transgressions midst sincere repentance.

To lead us well through His sovereign leadership
So we can optimize by faith His ministerial partnership
And praise Him always in our Spirit-filled worship.

Poets have an invisible friend,
a source of steady comfort, of reliable joy;
this is a companion whose trustworthiness
is transcended by images and sentiments;
always there to inspire the busy pen...
guided by an imaginable mind at play...
Be liberal and irrepressible in your thinking as malicious attacks
are initiated to stifle the undying freedom's voice,
shouldn't be allowed in a free society that claims fairness;
ancient poets lived in eras ruled by royal Majesties,
who demanded homage's odes for their victories...
ignoring their struggle and controversy, allowing disguise.
We don't have to give into punitive demands,
or be oppressed for writing our libertine intentions...
much is at stake not to act in utter defiance, and lampoons
are the perfect satires for their obvious grim.
Be lucid, keen, renascent, determined and unafraid;
regard poetry as that invisible friend and make it your muse.
Polish your gems as lapidaries do, when perfection is achieved,
admire the brilliant shine that effort and artistry rendered;
and if they reprehend it, don't see rejection as a failure, these are
the usual scoundrels who detest risibility in satirical verse
by declaring their opposing views; secure your grip on reality and thrive...
be incontestable and trust in that invisible friend by doing your best!

HEART THAT PREPARES FOR THE SERVICE OF THE LORD
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we rejoice in His salvation
Against backsliding brought by sins’ abomination---
We praise Him and His gracious compassion
Over our worldly negotiation, causing transgression.
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we dwell in His perfect will
Against rebelling so that His assigned mission we can fulfill---
We exalt Him and His redeeming ransom-bill
Over our captured being that was freed by His sacrifice at Calvary’s hill.
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we go toward His righteousness
Against treading upon filthiness that brings spiritual weariness---
We cleave to Him and His sanctifying truthfulness
Over our bad attitudes needing His power of holiness.
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we hearken to His voice
Against scorning His instructions with arrogant poise---
We seek Him and His wisdom devoid of humanistic noise
Over our foolish deafness as He guards our choice.
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we glorify His name
Against taunting mockery of ignorance-flame---
We rely in Him and His steadfast trustworthiness-frame
Over our fear-filled doubts to vanquish timidity of a coward shame.
Our heart prepares for the service of the Lord as we cling to His deliverance
Against attacking troubles with afflicting appearance---
We depend on Him and His wondrous assurance
Over our loathsome pride that should bow to humility’s forbearance.

Against staying immature along our selfish ways---

Are there any patriots left
to howl and cry for the sake of audacity
that echoes through eternity?
Is courage enough to defy ghastly death?
Stand on a pedestal and declare victory,
while tyrants continue their walk to enmity!
How often does someone come along
with a plan beneficial to Humanity?
Isn't greed their rising to power from thin air?
We've heard the hypocrisy of their song,
no mention of trustworthiness but fanfare!
Is this a play written without irony?
A cry of audacity is greater than cowardice,
to hide prospective and strategic ideas;
a throne was the centre stage of kings,
they governed according to empathy or malice!
Does a pathetic liar fall flat on his face,
and yet unharmed gets up to redo his betrayal and win the race?
Bigots follow him to his end, not weighing the cost of pretense!
The deceiver lives in luxury,
he wears designer clothes,
he looks elegant, a politician so creepy,
on the front page of Time Magazine:
is he another fake generator so mean?
Who's paying for all costs,
is he minimizing losses?
His fallout is an accurate prophecy!
They allow him to do more damage,
no blind can see the actual carnage
of bleeding folks who are denied pity and clemency;
they count nickels and dimes to feed their family!
Some folks lack guts; they let fate run its course!
They stay silent, allowing things to get worse;
lift your cry of audacity; it can't lie in dreary shadows:
doers are heroes, lazy people only wait for handouts!
