Truckers Poems - Poems about Truckers

Second Part a Truckers Wife

When im upset and full of worry you create a sense of ease,
I'll put those darker days behind me knowing good always comes in threes.
There's a strength you bring out in me that helps me when im stressed,
You always knew how to bring out my very best.
Your humor and excitement that keeps me on my

Truckers Life

I'm a trucker all day with long days ahead,
Working all through the night, while your asleep in your bed.
Before I can leave I inspect, check then go,
Everything seems good except my fluids seem low.
I hop in the cab, no time I can wait,
If deadlines are missed then there goes my freight and wage rate.
I stress

Wheels turning, churning, fighting for a grip
mud oozing, clinging, sucking for purchase
rivers flooding their banks, water everywhere
trucks fighting trying to get through and deliver
their precious cargos that are desperately awaited
sometimes gasoline or much needed machinery
all depending on the driver to make it to them.

Rugged terrain scorching hot, dust billowing
rushing, rushing, thrusting ever onwards
on

A Truckers Prayer

Our Lord, watch over us, your truckers
Wherever we may go
In daylight and in darkness
Following our loads
The roads we run are many
And the job we do is long
But lord, we all are brethren
Out here on the haul
So Lord, watch over us, your truckers
Wherever we may go
And bless the ones who’ve gone before
And those who carry on.

It Takes a Whole Village To Raise a Child: the Truckers

The Truckers:
It has been said that it takes a whole village
To raise a child; How does the village help
Families raise the children?

Truckers live in the village; and together, they,
Along with everyone else helps raise the children.
How do they help?

The truckers transport the goods that merchants
Need so the merchants can sell the things
That folks need

Amish Truckers Association

This part happened, this first part is true
But the story stretched and the exaggerations too
A trucker arrived to offload what he had to deliver
A hat and coat, avoiding a morning shiver
I was wondering about his means of transportation
I looked at the trucker and automatically knew without a mustache, he was part of the Amish
Truckers

Premium MemberTruckers Shut It Down

We need to send a message for Washington to hear
We need to make a statement and make it loud and clear
Leave rigs double parked in every town
Come on truckers. Shut it down
Block the highways. Set your course.
Show our politicians a united force
Politicians! While you're kissing babies remember this
We've got something you can kiss
We wanted a

My Truckers Prayer

Lord,bless me this day,
As I drive down this lonely highway.
Bless my family at home all alone,
Let me return where ever I roam.
If you feel it's my time to sleep,
Please take me quick and not let my family weep.
Keep my eyes open, keep my prayers in mind,
Keep my heart clean and let me always be kind.
Be my

A Truckers Wife

Placing my heart upon my sleeves,
posting fragrant aroma in empty rooms.
Wanting inner passion to erupt volcanically
only my love is emptied in loneliness.

Silent walls call loves emotions loudly
frames of desire paste deserted entities.
Sleekly punishing my broken chamber
into pieces of puzzled prisons locked jail.

Longing for fires flames to come home
yet over the road trucking he must

Truckers

There is something about eighteen wheelers,
For most of us can only wonder.
A trucker is respected to the up most,
From the east to west coast.
Oh demand to get to their destination,
Wist no hesation.
Only the strong will go the long haul,
They have no time to stall.
The endurance they have to keep on going,
In order to maintain what

The Truckers Life

When he's been gone too long,
And the days never end.
State after state
He misses his best friend.

He hates to say good-bye.
Too macho to cry.
Gotta pay the bills.
There's no time to kill.

He hugs his wife good-bye,
as his little girls cry.
They miss him so much.
And he misses so much.

First steps. First words.
School days. Birthdays.
The phone's always there.
But it's
